Dear Jay,

Please understand that Sanjay was handling everything single handed, and though

there might have been students around, the editing, design and layout of the

entire magazine was done by him apart from attending to a million other

administrative details of SJC. I am not even going into his astrological

activities. So it was not possible for him to attend to mails and queries. But

hopefully he will read this mail and respond to your question about the query.

We have as yet not asked our rs to renew their subscription with the

new issue. The older subscription did not cover the postage cost, and was

hence under priced. In case we decide to do so at some point, we will make an

announcement to that effect.

Dear Sarabani,

A couple of questions in regard to Jyotish Digest subscription:

1. Will you please clarify the Jyotish Digest subscription status for those

who paid a one year (12 issues) subscription at the time of its announcement

(about a year ago) and received only 5 issues so far.

2. Upon subscribing to JD a year ago there was a 'one request coupon' (per

year) assigned to the subscription.

Despite the fact that I sent this coupon in May 2002 I have never had any

response (all mails in this regard were totally ignored).
