Another point is, the native is materially quite wealthy and runs abusiness in

selling spiritual literature. From AL in Libra there will beSaturn and Mars in

3rd and 6th houses. Besides that, the native hasstarted with promoting and

leading an education program starting from thedasha of Jupiter October last

year (at least with the ayanamsa I use). IfJupiter were the AK, he would

certainly be engaged in education. Whetherhe has attacks of anxiety concerning

his health I don't know, I willinquire from him. But he certainly is a person

who will preach toeverybody he meets about spiritual life and yes, he talks a

Well if you notice that he has been running Rahu Dasa during his time of

succes, you will agree, that Arudha Lagna cannot be joining Rahu, as this would

cause a bad name and loss of fame.. opposite of Moon who would giving the rise

to the same.

Rahu is conjoined the Ghati Lagna and lords the Lagna, hence power came, but we

must be analytical and understand through which efforts this came. A criminal

gets fame through bad publicity, whilst a saint must get good publicity. So

Rahu cannot be in Arudha Lagna for a native of the name you mention, and

especially not if Rahu Dasa has been running for the last 18 years.

 

Jupiter as Atmakaraka alone doesn't make one interested in education, and

definitely not in the 8th. Actually we must analyse the AK as Lagna for this to

get a clear picture:

Jup being AK, would mean that its dispositor Mercury is joined 11th lord from

Jup - sun. This causes Srimantah Yoga and the soul is interested in acumulating

wealth. Sun and Mercury indicate through communications, logic and research, as

well as other intelligent purposes. As you can see the drive would be

different, in that the native is insterested in wealth, not the purpose of the

wealth.

 

Saturn as Atmakaraka, has dispositors Mars and Ketu.

Mars as dispositor is in the 5th house from AK, and is in mutual aspect with

Jupiter the 5th lord, causing Dhimantah Yoga, or one who searches and is

interested in knowledge. The planets Jup and Mars would promote astrology, and

traditional sciences from a logical approach.

Ketu as the dispositor is in the 6th from AK, again causing dhimantah Yoga,

however the junction with Venus being the 7th lord dominates and Srimantah Yoga

is formed. Ketu and Venus is a combination for Sadhu Yoga, and definitely shows

the souls desire to manifest knowledge and wealth through sadhu-like efforts.

 

The Mars placement will dominate however, as the venus-ketu combo is in 12th from Arudha Lagna.

 

Now Saturn as AK shows a person who will drink the sorrows and weaknesses of

others, whilst Jupiter will teach people hapiness.

 

I hope this is enough info to make the right decission. I feel the Lahiri

Ayanamsa is acurate in this case, otherwise he couldn't have established his

business. Do you have some cases closer to bordering degrees?
