Dear Sanjayji,

 

Please accept my humble apologies. You had started the SJC account with a

donation of Rs. 10,000, not to mention bearing innumerable other running costs

like payment of tickets for some members during Hyderabad conference, postage

etc. In the process I realise I also left out the names of those who donated

above Rs.500/- (and considerably) like Mayapur, Swee, Goelji, Sanjay

Prabhakaran, K. Sriram, Sarajit Poddar (who has contributed computer, books and

software in vast quantities) and Narayan Iyer (who is paying for and maintaining

the US web site). In fact they have made considerable donations to SJC which

enabled us to tide over some of the administrative expenses, specially during

the conference...otherwise we would have been in a soup. Somehow I had treated

donations and membership fees separately. The oversight is entirely mine. In

this light, I am redoing the membership list and will post it by this evening.

I am also sending a separate mail to the list regarding the membership fees

answering some of the queries raised by Sandy.

Membership Fees

Dear Jyotishis,

give all of you your membership numbers. Please remember these numbers. SJC

members will enjoy certain benefits like special prices on CDs/resources and

concessions on conference registration fees etc.. We will require the numbers
