Is Swami Sadasiva Giri also a disciple in this line? There is an ayanamsa called Deva-datta ayanamsa which is based also on the teachings of Yukteshwar, or am I wrong? However, this ayanamsa differs at about one degree from Yukteshwars. Personally I'm using an ayanamsa which is exactly 10 arc min. more than the Deva-datta ayanamsa or thus, closer to Lahiri. The difference between Revati nakshatra and the zero point Aries is 10 arc min, maybe that's why. Your sishya, Dhira Krsna dasa
Guest guest
Dear Dhira Krsna Dasa, Swami Yukteshwar Giri and Sadasiva Giri are both Swamis of Giri (mountain) order. I dont know whether Sadasiva Giri was a disciple of Swami Yukteshwar. One can calculate Yukteshwar's ayanamsa from the data given in his book "The Holy Science". I read that Swami Yukteshwar used approximations in his calculations. May be Deva-datta ayanamsa is based on the ideas of Yukteshwars but uses a more accurate calculations. regards, Siva. , "Dhira Krsna BCS" <Dhira.Krsna.BCS@p...> wrote: > Dear Siva, > > >However one of the disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya is Swami > >Yukteshwar Giri who gave an ayanamsa called Yukteshwar ayanamsa, > >which states that we are currently in dwapara yuga and gives a > >different cycles of yugas. > > Is Swami Sadasiva Giri also a disciple in this line?
