The affliction of Mercury and Sun by Rahu in the 2nd case is the main culprit.The second reason is the Kartari of the 5th house by Saturn and Ketu. An interesting point is the manifestation of the affliction started with the advent of the Sun dasa which is the Lord of A5(manifestation of the 5th house in the eyes of the world) and dispositor of Moon. She is running Moon/Rahu and no doubt that the affliction has taken a turn for the worse.But releif will be felt during the antara dasa of Jupiter that starts in December 2003 as Jupiter is the Lord of AL and posited in Al and will protect her image.Moreover he aspects the mantrapada and moon.Moon will also be in aposition to give releif as he is in the 9th house from AL and will surely protect her image. As far as remedies go, chanting Om Krishna Guru/Hare Rama Krishna would have been best as it would strengthen Mercury/Sun, strengthen Guru and the 5th house, but unfortunatley the native will not have the mental capacity to do so.Playing the tapes of chanting of Vishnu Sahsarnama/Maha Manthra/any Vishnu manthra should also calm her.The next best course will be to bring her to a temple of a Vishnu tattva Deity (since mercury's affliction is the root cause) and conduct pooja in her name.
