Dear Prtha,

DST is not followed in India. It is always 5 hrs 30 mins East of GMT.

Can you tell me what is the name of the Time Zone book you use and how to obtain it.

Best Wishes,

Karen

Haribol,I have been asked to do the chart of a little girl who was born in

India. Thus far, I have only done those born in USA. A chart is a chart, but we

all know that getting the birth data exactly right is crucial. I use the Time

Zones book (recommended by NaliniKanta/Tom Hopke) and NOT the empheris, as it

is often mistaken. However, the Time Zones book I have does not include all

other countries, and specificially, not India. For those who agree with me

about the ephemeris, how can I find the DST for this little girl? Is DST

followed in India? Thanks.YS,Prtha dd

Hello,

To the best of my knowledge daylight saving is not used in India. Therefore I

would suggest you simply use standard time.
