Dear Lakshmi,

I trust you mean that Jupiter is in quadrant with the Ascendant of Moon when you

mean that he is causing the Neechabhanga of Venus in 10th house.

I think that it would not be Jupiterdasha but Venus Dasha that could give rise

to NBRY. For Sagitarius Ascendant Jupiter does not give very good results

having aquired Kendradhipati dosha.Again Venus being lord of the 11th would

give rise to NBRY during later half of his Maha dasha or His Antar in Mars or

Sun Mahadasha. Of course I could be wrong as I am still seekier of knowledge in

the science of astrology.

[sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Understanding Neechabhanga

Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Gurudeva and friends,

I learnt from you that neechabhanga rajayoga is given during its dasa by the

planet which cancels the debilitation. I was wondering if the following

deliberations are proper:

At the risk of sounding narcissistic, let me take my own chart as an example. In

my chart Venus is debilitated in the 10th house and there’s neechabhanga by

Jupiter (lording the 7H from Venus, its exaltation point). What I presume is

that the neechabhanga would be more apparent in my 4th house matters than in

10th house matters, because Jupiter, as my 4th Lord, causes the neechabhanga.

If Mercury were to cause the neechabhanga, the focus would have been more on

the 10H. Ofcourse, this is in addition to the natural significations of the

pllanet.

Also, since Venus is supposed to have full digbala in 4th house and the

neechabhanga is caused by the same house, the resulting rajayoga would be

stronger.

I am yet to experience Jupiter mahadasa. Could someone, with neechabhanga in

their charts, please verify & correct my thoughts?

Regards,

Lakshmi

Om Gurave Namah

Namaste Chandrasekhar ji,

If you browse the archives, you'd see that it had been agreed that

results of neechabhanga would accrue during the dasa/antardasa of the

planet causing neechabhanga, and not by the planet whose debilitation

is cancelled.

It had also been stated that if Jupiter occupies a kendra synonymous

with his own house, moolatrikona, or exaltation house (resulting in

Mahapurusha yoga) the kendradhipatya dosha is lessened.

My Jupiter is in lagna along with Moon and Saturn, so he's in a

quadrant from both ascendant and moon.

Regards,

Lakshmi

Dear Saikumar,

I think there appears to be some confusion about occurence of Rajyogas. Though I

am just a seeker of knowledge of astrology, I think the Yoga occurs when

Mahadasha or antar dasha of Rajayoga causing planet runs and the yogakaraka for

the ascendant is aspecting, posited or in Trine to the house occupied by the

Rajayogakaraka planet or similar position to its Navamsha depositor.

[sJC: Achyuta Gurukul] Understanding Neechabhanga

Namasthe All,One more doubt here. What if the neechabhanga iscaused by the

planet itself. For example if Saturn is Debilitated in Rasi in Ariesand if gets

exalted in Navamsa in Libra then when doesthe effect of NBRY fructify. Is it

still in Saturn dasa/antardasa??Regards,Sai--- "b_lakshmi_ramesh
