I have been studying the paper on Arudha padas. There is an aside on

the Arudha padas of planets:

 

"Illusions of the world about a native are just one side of the maya of

this world. There is another side – illusions of the native about the

world and himself. These are shown by the arudha padas of planets and

let us leave them for now."

 

Will someone please elaborate on Arudha padas of planets and how they

relate to the Atmakraka. This is knowledge seems to be crucial to an

astrologer for giving true guidance. Also how do arudha padas of planets

express the attachments and desires of the individual?
