Namaste Guruji,

I am puzzled by the paradox of Jupiter lording index finger, since

this finger is expressly excluded in all japa rituals.

Can someone clarify?

Regards,

Lakshmi

Dear Swee,

Can you check and find out WHY? Why is the index finger not allowed to touch

the mala? I am sure you should be aware, else doing anything without being

aware or having knowledge is tamas (ignorance).

At the feet of Guru Pandita Kasinatha,

I remain,

Dear Sanjay Guruji,

Chandra (moon) resides on Tarjani (index finger) and moon has a shap because

of moha. Could this be a reason?

With best regards,

Sadashiv.
