Dear Chandrashekhar and Ognjen,

If you look at what Chandrashekhar in a general sense through the

eyes of Ashtakavarga, then there are some rules that say Benefic

planets (defintion is planets with > 4 bindus in their SAV) cast

Malefic graha dristi of magnitude equal to their bindus. So say

Guru has 7 bindus, then Guru will cast a graha dristi and reduce the

effect of the sign it aspects i.e. 7th, 9th and 5th house by a

magnitude of -7 bindus (or 7 rekhas). So in essense Guru will give

benefic resutls to the house it is placed in but will reduced the

beneficance of 3 houses. Guru is the greatest benefic and in most

charts it will have bindus > 4 as it distributes the largest number

of bindus in its BAV.

Similarly Shani generally has only 39 bindus to distribute so its

considered a malefic. So in most charts you will see that Shani

which has less than 4 bindus will cast benefic graha dristi. So in

essence it will be maelfic for the house it is posted in (in general

assuming that Shani has < 4 bindus in its SAV) and will cast a

positive Graha Dristi to 3 houses it aspects.

So if one talks generally on an average Guru will spoil 3 bhavas and

help 1 bhava and Shani will benefic 3 bhavas and spoil 1 bhava.

Think about one thing, the debilitation sign of a planet is opposite

to that of its exaltation. If you look at it through ashtakavarga

then a planet that has the maximum of 8 bindus of a house

(exaltation) it will most definitely aspect the 7th house with

maximum of -8 rekhas making debilitated.

Hope that helps,

Cheers !!!

Ash

my experience. There is a shloka to the extent that Saturn protects

the Bhava and Jupiter spoils the Bhava. You would also find that even

if saturn may not give good results of the Bhava in which he is

placed, he does not harm it.

the effects. You will find that Saturn in 8th does not kill a

person. Now if someone interpretes this to mean that he harma the

8th house, then it is only misinterpretation of the stated principle.

do not think miscarriage is indicated.Mars aspect might indicate

ceasarian section. You have not indicated your ascendant, but he

could also indicate a male child.
