Guest guest Posted November 14, 2002 Report Share Posted November 14, 2002 Dear Gurujis and List Members, I am a very new student of astrology and am seeking help/guidance on a issue which I suddenly noticed yesterday. My last Saturn Antardasha was from 1995 to 1998 in Mercury MahaDasha and was a very bad time. I was having major fights with my wife. I quit a Class I job and started a business which failed miserably. I started drinking heavily. I was also doing a part time MBA prior to it (Jup Antardasha) which I just left when it was about to be completed (Sat had begun). After Mer/Sat Ketu MahaDasha began and financial worries were over. My Ketu/Saturn AntarDasha is approaching (Feb 2003 to Mar 2004) And I am in jitters. I am really scared. My Sat is retro in 4th House conjunct Moon (Sagi Lagna). Moon is in Parivartan with Jup (8th House), which is conjunt Sun. The most that I am worried about is losing my Job, as the market is already bad. I am in the US right now and my Green Card is in process. From one angle I can say that as Saturn is damaging my 4th House it should give me a Green Card (no/less prospects of returning home). On the other hand it aspects 10th House and will take away employment. so no job and no green card means back to home (India). Attached is my Chart. I seek the esteemed guidance of Gurus to sail through this period smoothly, and continue my study of Jyotish (and not give it up, the way I gave up MBA in the Mer/Sat). One way to judge the difference between antardasas are to use the mahadasa lord as the lagna, since the mahadasa influences the individual majorl like atma kaaraka. Now for Mercury Mahadasa, Using Ge as Temproary lagna in Rasi chart. We see that Saturn is 8th and 9th lord in 10th house conjoined Moon the 2nd lord. 9th lord (for higher education)has gone to second from it self which is a maraka stana so higher education was affected. Saturn being 8th lord from Mercury makes it a little malefic. There is a parivartana between Moon and Jupiter. So moon may give the results of Jupiter. So Moon behaves like 7th from Mercury and is conjoined Saturn a big malefic for Moon. Moon if taken as the 2nd lord form Mecury also affects the Kutumbh and wealth. Also Saturn is in 10th from Mercury being the 8th co-lord could have made you lose the job. being the 9th co-lord it could have also given a good oportunities for half the antardasa.
