Guest guest
Aum Namah Sivaya Dear Gauranga, Something wrong somewhere. D-16 is known as Kalamsa based on the 16 Kala in a day. D-6 or shastamsa is called the kaulukamsa. For Vimshamsa Vimshâmsa. From Mesh for a Movable Râsi, from Dhanu for a Fixed Râsi and from Simh for a Common Râsi: this is how the calculations of Vimshâmsa (1/20th of a Râsi, or 1°30' each) are to commence. The presiding deities of the 20 Vimshâmsa in an odd Râsi are, respectively: Kali, Gauri, Jaya, Lakshmi, Vijaya, Vimal, Sati, Tara, Jvalamukhi, Sveta, Lalita, Bagalamukhi, Pratyangir, Shachi, Raudri, Bhavani, Varad, Jaya, Tripura and Sumukhi. In an even Râsi these 20 deities, respectively, are Daya, Megha, Chinnasi, Pisachini, Dhumavathi, Matangi, Bal, Bhadr, Arun, Anal, Pingal, Chuchchuk, Ghora, Vaarahi, Vaishnavi, Sita, Bhuvanesvari, Bhairavi, Mangal and Aparajit.
