Guest guest
Hi, This is what the current edition of B V Raman's The Astrological Magazine has to say about chandrashtama: "When the Moon in transit enters the 8th sign from the natal Moon-sign or Janma Rasi, it is known as Chandrashtama. In electional astrology, it is classed under the list of major adverse factors that should be avoided when venturing on any activity. Apart from that, Chandrashtama also indicates a small period of two-and-a-half days every month, when one should be extra alert to problems, irritation, physical lassitude and difficult mental moods. In its simplest form, Chandrashtama leads to depression and irritation. A simple example would be when one is very warmly invited to a wedding. But once at the venue, one finds one is ignored (may be inadvertantly) or even slighted by the host leaving one feeling bitter and angry. Another case of Chandrashtama showing its relatively harmless sting is when everything goes wrong at office or at home, or one is late for a meeting and then discovers one has left behind important papers behind without which the meeting ceases to make any sense. On the more serious side, a Chandrashtama period when it coincides with an adverse Dasa and Bhukti, could result in accident, loss, death of oneself or a loved one, attack, assault, humiliation, defeat or any other kind of calamity." Just thought it might be of interest, since we'd a thread (started by me ) on this recently. Ramapriya hubli (AT) vsnl (DOT) com
