Guest guest
Hare Ram Krsna Respected Gurus and Participating Group Member, Gurudeva Sanjay Ji mentions in the COVA that the worst rashi in the chart is the one occupied the the 8th Lord as well as the 8th Lord is the Lord of renunciation. This can mean that in case 8th Lord associates with factors like Asc Lord or 10th Lord or 10th House, the native's life may take a direction towards renunciation. For example, in Swami Vivekananda's chart, 8th Lord Moon afflicts the 10th house and 2nd lord Saturn, making him renounce wealth and ambition for position and status. Dear List members and Gurus, kindly send your valuable comments and remarks to go deeper together into the nature of 8th Lord, the Lord of Renunciation. Guest guest
Hi, I can only draw upon real life charts to test this. I have a friend in a high profile world bank job with sag lagna and moon in the 10th. She is nowhere near renunciation and lack of ambition in her career. Guest guest
Nimmi, I think I've read (can't remember where) that Sun and Moon are kinda immune to this 8th lordship disability. I've an 8th lord exalted in 12th, in conjunction with Moon, the 12th lord Warm regards, Ramapriya hubli (AT) vsnl (DOT) com - Nimmi Ragavan sjvc Monday, September 23, 2002 2:35 PM Re: [sjvc] INAUSPICIOUS 8TH LORD Hi, I can only draw upon real life charts to test this. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Hi Rama, The fact that Sun and Moon aren't malefic as 8th lord(s) is mentioned in BPHS itself. Despite that however, as Bhatiaji mentions, the native having the said combination(s) may have strong impulse to renounce / quit, notwithstanding his/her professional position. The undersigned also has the combination of Asc lord with 8th lord, but was blaming her inclination to quit the job and lack of professional ambition on combust 10th lord situated in 9H (12th from 10H), debilitated Venus in 10th house (despite neechabhanga) and strong influence of Saturn on lagna/moon /4th lord and 10H. Ironically, the same factors mentioned above are also supposed to result in raja yogas and continue to keep her employed Howzzat?
