Our 7th meeting was held on 18.8.02. the same was attended by,

7. Dasguptathe topic of discussion for this meeting was "D1 Narayan Dasa". we

started discussion on the same on the horoscope of Aroona-in continuation to

the last meeting. The horoscope attached herewith in jhl4.1 format.

doubts faced during the discussion is in red. we look for further guidance from

you on the same.

Dasa starts from 7H. MD effects to be seen from 7th of dasa rashi

 

Visti: You state this principle yet never use it.

 

She lost her father in June'1980

She was running Sco maha dasa (14.1.1978 to 1984). Effects are seen from Tau

Sco is natal 8th house having PiK Rahu. Also pitri sthirakaraka Sun is aspected

by Rahu. So problem is indicated for father.

Applying 1/3rd rule:

1st part runs 14.1.78 to 14.1.80, this period rashi will give effect. Sco being

a malefic rashi - whole this period her father was suffering from ailments.

2nd part runs 15.1.80 to 14.1.82, this period the rashi lord will give effect.

Lord Mars in natal 9H - aspected by Sat. Also Mars is in 2nd from Rahu (PiK),

so maraka for her father.

 

Visti: Lord of Taurus; Venus is Sthira Pitri Karaka, and in the 10th(maraka

for father). Saturn and Rahu are the enemies of the Sun, and can kill, hence

during the Antar Dasa of Gemini, housing Saturn this could have happened.

 

jk: it is not clear why you are considering lord of taurus. is it because

effects are to be seen from taurus? but our understanding is that in such case

only the 7th hse from dasa will be taken as temp. lagna. everything else will

remain same. for example, in this case rasi effects will be that of scorpio and

when the rashi lord will give result, the placement of the lord of scorpio i.e

mars w.r.t. taurus have to be seen. please correct if we are wrong.

 

yes, venus and sun both are sthira pitri karaka. but who will actually act as

the karaka in a chart? we see that you have used both here. also as my

understanding goes...stronger of the sthira karakas has to be considered only

in case of shoola dasa. can you please throw more light on this?

 

When the ND starts from the 7th house, the dasa analysis is from the 7th from

it. The native here was running Sc-Ta and hence 7th from Sc->Ta will be the

Dasa Rasi and Paka becomes Capricorn. Taking Ta, we see the lord venus is in

the 9th and from the Sthira karaka scheme, venus also becomes more stronger

than sun. Sun get's rasi aspect of Rahu. Again taking Ta as the lagna, you have

chara pik Rahu in the 7th (maraka)and mars from the 8th aspects 9th lord saturn.

As i recollect, planets in the 4th, 8th and 12th from dasa rasi will give

harmfull effects. As i gather, for Sc narayana dasa the Jeeva is Ge. Ge is

afflicted by saturn and aspect of mars and thus will be a period of

misfortunes.

 

She had a break in her education in Aug'1989 and started service in garment exporting firm

She was running Cap maha dasa (14.1.1986 to 1993). Effects are seen from Can.

Deha rashi is Cap, Jeeva rashi is Lib, Paka rashi is Gem and Bhoga rashi is Sco

(A10 in Sco). Bhoga rashi is aspected by HL, GL and having A10. As time was

matured, the rashi is natal 10th and having Sun- start of career is indicated

in this period. rahu argala on dasa rashi shows foreign connections (export)

Cap is her 10H and a pristhodaya rashi. So the rashi effect will be given at the

last 1/3 period (14.1.1990 to 14.1.1993). 1st 1/3 period (14.1.1986 to

14.1.1988) will be rulled by the lord Sat and 2nd 1/3 part (14.1.1988 to

14.1.1990) will be ruled by planets in and aspecting the rashi.

Mars (lord of natal 4H, who is in MD rashi) have aspect rahu. It seems this is

the reason why she had a break in her education in the 2nd part.

 

Visti: Cancer is the 4th house, and the middle 1/3rd is ruled by Moon its

lord. Moon is in the 10th(maraka for formal education) and also shows begining

work. Mars and Ketu are the main breakers of education(mercury) and hence

during Antar Dasa of Sag, housing Mars this happened.

 

jk: here also Cn is the 7th house. can we consider the position of 7th lord to

give effect? more over cancer is a pristhodayo rashi. so the rashi effect

should be at the last 1/3rd portion. hence the lord should give effect in the

1st 1/3rd and the planets aspecting & in the rashi should give effect in the

2nd 1/3rd poation. please correct us, if we are wrong.

 

in her case-the break was in the 10th standard school education. so i think that

4th house affliction should be seen here.

 

Aug 1989 corresponds to Cp-Sg. Thus the dasa rasi is Cancer. We take the 4th

house as this break in education is formal education. 4th house is libra and

it;s lord venus is in the 7th from Dasa Rasi in Cn. 4th lord is aspected by

Rahu where as the karaka jupiter is placed in the 8th from Cn. The antar dasa

is that of Sg who is the 6th from Dasa rasi (cancer) and AD lord jupiter placed

in the 8th from Cn.

 

During this narayana dasa, we see many planets in the 7th from Cn thus giving an

indication about mana as As i have learnt, the 7th house from the dasa rasi is

the mana or the desires of the consicous mind. Sun in the 7th (mana) will make

the native to see more avenues to work in terms of a career or if already in a

job will make efforts to get into a more better job. Moon makes a person want

fame and social visibility etc, venus gives the desire for luxuries... mercury

the desire to learn. Also Rahu aspecting this would mean that the profession

itself may have a low income one as rahu is always opposed to Sun. Since the

lord of the 7th saturn itself is placed in the 12th (from Cn) and saturn being

retro, it;s quite possible that the desires could have not brone fruit and/or a

lot of effort would have gone in during this period. (Cp-Sg)

 

Deha rashi is Cap, Jeeva rashi is Lib, Paka rashi is Gem and Bhoga rashi is Sco

(A10 in Sco). Bhoga rashi is aspected by HL, GL and having A10. As time was

matured, the rashi is natal 10th and having Sun- start of career is indicated

So during the 3rd part she was fully in service in export firm.

 

I think she starting to work during Cn is because of Sun in the 7th from dasa rasi.

 

 

Good to see your brains burning ignorrance.. there was a lot of small points

here.. get to know the karakas better.
