Guest guest
Dear Visti, I have read all 5 lessons and below is my attempt: Assignment: >Determine the other results of Saturns placement in the 4th house. >I.e. how will it affect; Education, the Mind, Sukha, Lands, Buildings, >Vehicles, etc. >Best wishes, Visti. Karaka for Education is Mercury. Saturn is neutral towards Mercury. Placement of Saturn in the 4th house from lagna or 4th house from Mercury could disrupt progress in education in Dasa of Saturn or Mercury. 4th house placement of Saturn will make Saturn enemy as per Temporary relations. Karaka for the Mind (1st house from Moon) is Moon (Sattvic). Saturn's placement with Moon will decrease Sattvic thoughts and replace/increase Tamasic mental activity. Emotions and peace of mind are 4th house significations. Saturn's placement there or 4th from the Moon (Enemy - temporal relationship) will decrease mental peace and increase emotional instability. Sukha is seen as Jupiter's 4th house Karaka. Saturn in the 4th house or 4th from Jupiter will likely disturb happiness. Karaka of Lands is Mars. Saturn in the 4th house or 4th from Mars will likely affect bring misfortune or arguments from landed property. Karaka for Buildings is Ketu. Saturn in the 4th house or 4th from Ketu would result in problems related to Buildings/House. (Saturn in the neutral but 4th house from Saturn would make it a Temporary enemy) Vehicles/Pleasures is Venus' 4th house Karaka. Saturn is a friend of Venus. Saturn in the 4th house or 4th from Venus would result in pleasures and luxury from various activities for the native and give him happiness from vehicle/conveyances. Thank you for your time in teaching. Ashwin.
Guest guest
Dear Visti, Om Sri Sai Ram. Here is my attempt of the assignment. Assignment: Determine the other results of Saturns placement in the 4th house. I.e. how will it affect; Education, the Mind, Sukha, Lands, Buildings, Vehicles, etc. Answer: Saturn will further the significations of the planets it is friendly to and will harm the significations of the planets it is enemical to. Saturn is friends with Ve, Me and Ra, nuetral to Jup and ememical to Sun, Moon, Mars and Ketu. Sat in 4H will provide many vehicles and luxuries, good education, many maternal relatives and a happy childhood(Ve,Me,Jup). It will harm the mother's health and well being(Mo).It will inhibit the acquisition of lands and buildings and provide a shabby and unclean home(Mars, Ketu). Sat in the 4H will give argala and aspect to the 1H giving the native a sorrowful and dull disposition. Its argala on the 3H will make him courageous. Its argala and aspect to the 6H will make the enemies strong. Its argala to the 12H will cause poor sleep and argala to the 9H will harm father's health and give long distance travels. Guest guest
vyam vedavyasaaya namah Dear Ashwin & Saraswaty, Excellent answers. Ashwin i didn't include Tatkalika Sambandha into the lesson, wait with that. Saraswatys answers were most correct, hence i will make the necessary corrections in it. Here is my attempt of the assignment.Assignment:Determine the other results of Saturns placement in the 4th house. I.e. how will it affect; Education, the Mind, Sukha, Lands, Buildings, Vehicles, etc.Answer:Saturn will further the significations of the planets it is friendly to and will harm the significations of the planets it is enemical to. Visti: Saturn in 4th will not provide happy childhood, as it causes the debilitation of Jupiter(Sukha) and is enimical towards the moon. The person will have a cold heart, maybe due to a shock in childhood(Lagna, 2nd and 4th shows the upbringing/childhood). The education will be good, but will be very strict, where the teacher uses the cane, as thats Saturns nature. Sat in the 4H will give argala and aspect to the 1H giving the native a sorrowful and dull disposition. Visti: Naturally all said about the placement in 4th, will influence the lagna, through argala. Its argala on the 3H will make him courageous. Its argala and aspect to the 6H will make the enemies strong. Visti: Saturn hates Mars(karaka of satru) and will destroy the enemies, and give many subordinates(Karaka - Saturn) Its argala to the 12H will cause poor sleep and argala to the 9H will harm father's health and give long distance travels. Visti: Allthough Argala wasn't a part of the lesson, you have answered it well. As you can see Karakas are most vital in astrology in understanding the influence of planets. You will note that i added such implications regarding Saturn causing Jupiters debilitation and etc, this is also important in judging the effects. We can continue in this regard.. Lets take 2nd house. Which grahas are Karakas for; Eyes, Wealth, Speech, Food & Family? Best wishes, Visti.
Guest guest
Dear Visiti, Here is my answer to the combined lesson: >Assignment: >Determine the other results of Saturns placement in the 4th house. >I.e. >how will it affect; Education, the Mind, Sukha, Lands, Buildings, > >Vehicles, etc. Answer ====== Saturn's relationships as concluded in the previous assignment is as follows: Friends: mercury, venus Neutral: jupiter Enemies: mars, moon, sun Education: Mercury is the karaka. Mercury and Saturn are good friends. So, the placement of saturn in mercury will give one a good formal education. Schooling should take place with ease. Mind: Moon is the karaka - Saturn and Moon are enemies. So, the Saturn's placement in the 4th house would give rise to fear and the individual will be emotional by nature. Since, moon also governs mother, will the placement of saturn in this house affect the relationship with one's mother? Sukha: Jupiter is the karaka - Saturn and Jupiter share a neutral relationship. So, what does this mean? Am I right in saying that it will neither enhance nor disturb ones happiness? But, since Saturn is a natural malefic maybe it will cause delayed happiness. Would that be right? Lands: Mars is the karaka - Mars and Saturn are enemies. So, the native would have difficulty in acquiring lands. Buildings: Ketu is the karaka - From BPHS, I read that Ketu and Saturn are friends. So, though there would be a problem in acquiring lands, I think there should be no problem with respect to buildings. The native would be able to acquire buildings with ease. Vehicles: Venus - Saturn and Venus are friends. So, the native will enjoy various pleasures and will also have the luxury of vehicles. regards, vishwa. ====================================================================== Interested in Sanskrit? Guest guest
Dear Visti, "SARAS: Its argala and aspect to the 6H will make the enemies strong. VISTI: Saturn hates Mars(karaka of satru) and will destroy the enemies, and give many subordinates(Karaka - Saturn)" According to "(j) in Pg 15, Narayana dasa ", won't the 3rd argala by malefics on the 6H make the enemies strong irrespective of whether the planets are inimical to the house? Guest guest
Dear Visti, Om Sri Sai Ram. Ignore my previous mail. According to "(j) in Pg 15, Narayana dasa ", won't the 3rd argala by malefics benefit the house significations by bad means irrespective of whether the planets are inimical to the house? So, Saturn in 4H has 3rd argala on 2H and will make the person earn lot of wealth through foul means i.e. here it will further the signification of Jup although it causes its debilitation.
