Pranams to all Guru's and learned members,

 

Taking the advice of Gurudev Sanjay that we have to start analyzing charts also

esp charts of saints, we decided we will attempt the chart of the Shri

Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

What we attempted to see in this great saint's chart was two things

 

1. Why are the astrological reasons for his marriage without any physical

attributes.

2. What are the astrological reasons for his spirituality esp with regard to

his worship of mother.

 

This attempt is only from students... so we will obliged if guru's and learned

members can give their valuable opinion.

 

1. Aquarius lagna rises with sun, moon, and mercury ®. Sun, the lord of 7th is

in lagna. 7th house Leo has no planets but is aspected by exalted mars in the

12th and exalted Saturn ® from the 9th. (Rasi Drishti). The sign Leo contains

the A9, thus showing the close link between Marriage and Dharma in his chart.

The upapada is Aries with UL lord mars exalted in the 10th from it and 12th

from Lagna. The 2nd from UL has exalted rahu. 2nd from from UL is Venus who is

exalted, but Venus is debilitated in Navamsa thus giving rise to RajaBhanga

yoga. This would mean that results of Venus are not be experienced at all. Rahu

in the 2nd from UL also ensures that marriage as we know it (materialistic

definition of marriage) does not fructify. Passions that play a part in

marriage life are destroyed because of Venus debilitation in D9.

 

In Navamsa Capricorn lagna rises. The 7th from Capricorn i.e. cancer is a

compassionate sign representing the mother and has mars and ketu!. Mars also is

involved RajaBhanga yoga as being exalted in Rasi and Debilitated in Navamsa.

Ketu's presence in the 7th house makes sure that there are no desires with

regard to marriage. Thus the planets that promote Bramhacharya Mars and Ketu,

both influence the 7th house in D9. Again the a9 in navamsa falls in the house

of the 7th. Not only A9 falls in cancer in D9, A4 also is in cancer. This again

points to the influence debilitated mars and ketu play with respect to 4th house

results manifestations.... paving the way for Brahmacharya even when married.

 

The saint got married in the year 1859. I could not find out the month in this

year from the saint;s life biographies. But during 1959 he was running the

narayana dasa of Taurus. Taurus ND runs till 1863. The year 1859 there are 2

antaras of Le and Vi. ND starts from lagna. Taurus is the 4th house from lagna.

Taurus is the 2nd from UL. Taurus has A7. Taurus also is aspected by UL lord

mars (rasi aspect). Thus Taurus did give marriage. Of the month, i can only say

that of Le and Vi Antaras Le would probably be more qualified to give marriage

as Le is the 7th house and also has A9. 7th lord aspecting the 7th house Le.

 

 

 

The 12th house stands for Moksha. In Rasi, 12th lord is exalted in the trine.

But exalted 9th lord is retro, thus Saturn giving reverse results. The 12th

house receives the aspect of Rahu who in this great saint;s chart is the chara

Atmakaraka. While Naisargika karaka sun would show atma and it's path for

salvation, Chara atmakaraka shows the progression of the soul in the current

life time and how and by what means a person goes to realize that moksha.

 

The saint;s Ishta devata is Shiva as Atmakaraka Rahu is in Capricorn (karakamsa

is Cp). 12th from karakamsa has Sun->Shiva. But why then did the saint worship

Kali?

 

2. D20 shows spiritual matters. In D20, Gemini is the lagna which has mars. Mars

in D20 showing an aggressive, warrior deity. The 5th house shows worship and in

D20 the 5th house is Libra lorded by Venus who is placed in the 9th with moon.

Thus we have Venus (feminine) with moon (feminine) and mars (in lagna) who is

warrior. This points to a feminine deity who is war like. Goddess KALI. In D20,

A7 shows the kind of people one interacts in this spiritual activities. A7 is

again Libra. the 5th house.. but has mercury in it. Now mercury is the chara

Matrukaraka!!!! (MK) . Mother worship again. Thus the manifestation of

spiritual life is only with respect of mother's vision.

 

 

This attempt is nowhere near complete. I will be obliged if Guru's can comment

on this attempt with regard to the saints marriage life and spirituality. We

look forward for evaluations and comments.
