As scheduled, our 4th meeting was held on 7.7.02. the same was attended by,

the topic of discussion for this meeting was "Narayan Dasa". we started

discussion on the same on the horoscope of Ashwin. The horoscope attached

herewith in jhl4.1 format..

 

Our 6th meeting will be held on 11.08.02

 

doubts faced during the discussion is in red. we look for further guidance from

you on the same.

Arambha Rashi and order of dasa:

 

1. Asc. is Gemini. 7th from it is vacant. Asc has Sat. so 1st house is stronger.

2. 9th house is Aqua-samapada rashi. So order should be anti zodiacal. Also asc.

is a dual sign - so dasa should progress in trines

3. As sat is in asc. - as an exception dasa will progress zodiacal and regular and start from asc.

 

Next his current Libra dasa was taken up for analysis (from 18.3.1998).

 

Lord venus is in 7th. Neither debilated nor exaulted. So period of dasa will be 7-1=6 yrs

Deha rashi is Libra and Jeeva rashi is also be Libra as lord ven is in 7th from

it. Paka rashi is Ari and bhoga rashi is Can (having arudha of Ari - 11th

house).

Paka rashi is not in kendra or trikona from lagna but bhoga rashi is in kendra

from AL. For auspicious result both paka and bhoga rashi should in kendra or

trikono from lagna and AL respectively.

 

What should be the general effect in this case for such placement of paka and bhoga rashi?

 

7th house from Libra is stronger. Its lord mars is in Cap. So antardasa shall

start from Cap. Cap is even sign. So antardasa is reckoned in reverse.

 

As 1st dasa starts from lagna, effects of all mahadasas are to be seen from dasa rashi.

Malefic mars in 4th - no happiness, shifting of residence. .

Moon in 8th - very adverse for mental happiness

Jup and sun in 6th - defeat in competition but spiritual advancement He started

learning astrology from start of this dasa.

mer in 5th and dasa lord ven in 7th - good. Subdasas of the signs containing mer

and ven should give favourable result

Deblt rahu in 2nd to affect his regular income during this dasa

 

Li dasa is for 6 yrs. Applying 1/3rd rule:

1st 2 years will be ruled by the dasa sign (3/98-3/00)

next 2 yrs give effect of lord (3/00-3/02)

last 2 yrs (3/02-3/04)will give effects of the planets aspecting the sign by

rashi dristi or conjoining it.

 

Question came up here that if neither any planet is aspecting nor any planet is

conjoining the dasa rashi, then who will rule the last 1/3rd portion of the

period.

 

18.3.1998-17.3.2000

As per lesson 5, all odd rashis are malefic and even rashis are benefic. So

Libra should be a malefic rashi and this period should show it's effect

For Narayan dasa purpose, will the same rule for malefic and benefic rashi will apply?

 

Arround Sept 1999 ( Li-Li) he shifted from Patna to Pune after a quarrel with

his brother. Li has mars in 4th.

Dec'1999, he got a job and inspite of problem he continued there.

 

It was not clear why in that time he managed to get a job. Can the 1/3rd rule be

applied for sub dasa rashi also? Li sub is from 16.9.1999 to 16.3.2000 (6

months), if 1/3rd rule is applied :

1st 2 months (16.9.1999 to 15.11.1999) wiil show rashi effect. Libra being

malefic rashi results were malefic

next 2 months (16.11.1999 to 15.1.2000) will give its' lord effect. Lord ven in

inimical house. Benefic palnet in inimical house will give adverse result at

the begining, but he managed to get a job in the begining only. In D10 Ven is

swavarga in 8th from Lib-aspected but 6th lord Jup who is with moon forming GKY

in 4th. Can it be told that-this is why he managed to get a job in this period?

last 2 months (16.1.2000 to 16.3.2000) planerts aspecting or conjoining the

rashi will give effect. Lib aspected by 9L mer + exaulted moon & ketu. This

period was ok.

 

18.3.2000-17.3.2002

In this period lord of dasa rashi will rule. Lord is Ven in 7th in inimical

house. Benefic palnet in inimical house will give adverse result at the

begining. In general effect in this period should be good at the end.

 

The effects were good till nov'2000 but matters at all front started becoming

bad to worse after that. Enemity in job, family problem and then ultimately

loss of job in Oct'2001. Follwing subs were running in this period,

Virgo (17.3.2000 to 15.9.2000)

Leo (16.9.2000 to 16.3.2001): Matters started deteriorating from the start of

2nd 1/3 portion in this period. AD lord Sun in 8th from Leo and 6th from MD

rashi Lib-with swavarga Jup. Leo is aspected by Mars and Ven-both inimical to

Sun. No wonder-effects were not good in this AD

Can (17.3.2001 to 15.9.2001) aspected by rahu (dblt in 5th), 12L (from Can) mer

(in 8th) and exaulted lord moon (with ketu) in 11th

Gem (16.9.2001 to 17.3.2002): malefic rashi (odd) with sat in it and its lord in

8th from it. It is aspected by swavarga Jup and sun from 10th. He lost job in

Oct'2001 i.e in 1st 1/3 portion only. But in the last portion he regained

cofidence and started getting more and more spiritually inclined.

 

18.3.2002-16.3.2004

In this period planets aspecting the rashi Lib will rule. Lib is aspected by

9L/12L mer as well as exaulted moon & debltd ketu. So it can be taken that this

period should be good in general except for mental tension due to 8th moon. Can

we take that this period will give effect similar to last part of Lib sub?

 

If we cosider the graha arudhas of mer, moon and ketu-position of arudhas are,

Arudha of Mer (9L) in Lib may indicate increase in dharma logic

Arudha of Mer (12L) in 7H from Lib may indicate association in foreign countries

Arudha of Moon (10L) in 12H from Lib may indicate proffession in or connected to foregn countries

Arudha of Ketu (2L) in 5H from Lib. What it might indicate - not clear. Please guide us.

 

Follwing subs will be in this period:

Tau (18.3.02-15.9.02)

Ari (16.9.02-17.3.03): 10th from it has exaulted lord Mars, this period may give him new job

Pie (18.3.03-15.9.03)

Aqu (16.9.03-16.3.04)
