Guest guest
Om Guruve Namah Dear Hari and all, Thank you for the nice analysis of Sri Ramakrishna's chart. Hope I can be an honorary member of your Bangalore chapter unless we get our East Coast USA group going. I'd like to add that Gurudev taught on his BAVA tapes that the marraige itself can be judged from the relationship between the Arudha lagna and Upapada (AL/UP) and marital relations can be seen from the relationship between the Arudha Lagna and Darapada (AL/A7). In Ramakrishna's chart his Upapada is in the 11th house from his Arudha lagna showing he thought of his wife like a good friend but his A7 is in the 12th from his AL with Rahu showing he has rejected marital relations with Sarada Ma. Another quick way to see the deity worshipped based on the person's nature is to look at the strongest planet in trine to the rasi lagna. Considering the 1,5 and 9th house from lagna, the first is stronger having 3 planets, Sun, Moon, and Mercury. Of those, Moon is strongest being more advanced in the sign, thus again his nature is to worship the Divine Mother. Since the Moon is very weak, being almost new, it will again represent Mother Kali. Guest guest
Dear Visti, Thanks for pointing out the Bhratrukaraka which shows Sri Ramakrishna's Bhakti, or attachment of the heart. In his chart the Bhatrukaraka is the Moon which again shows his love for the Divine Mother. Related to this though there's something I don't fully understand and hoping you could help clear it up for me. In Gurudev's Vedic Remedies he writes that the BK also shows Guru devata. I'm also not clear on wherher the Guru devata is a deity acting whose role it is to guide or is also representing a person in one's life who will be a Guru or perhaps both. Thank in advance for shedding some Light on this. Best Wishes, Karen Dear Karen, Check Bhratri Karaka in Navamsa.
