Dear Jyotisha, In book "Vedic Remedies of Astrology" Sanjayji gives the description of Deities for each planet being based on author Harihara. What is Deities Shastha and Kiratha? And what else there are Deities for Shani? Whether these Deities for Shani: Brahma Sri Kurma Narayana, Vishnu In what cases what Deity is applied to remedial measures? -- Yours, Chandramukha das. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ----------------------- Dear Chandramukha Dasa, We don't worship Brahma due to the curse of Shiva in thie Kali Yuga. Jaimini has given the worship of Narayana. Vishnu is considered to be the result of Supreme lords merge with Sri Shakti(Lakshmi), but making such distinctions between deities cannot suffice, as these borders are imperceptible. Koorma is a specific avatara of Vishnu however. Recite the Astakshari Narayana Mantra for Sani; Om Namo Narayanaya. Best wishes, Visti. - Chandramukha Das Forum SJVC Thursday, June 27, 2002 5:14 PM [sjvc] Deities for Shani Om Namo Narayanaya!Dear Jyotisha,In book "Vedic Remedies of Astrology" Sanjayji gives the descriptionof Deities for each planet being based on author Harihara.
