Guest guest
Respected Guruji and the list members, Extremely sorry for the long break due to circumstances. Anyway, earlier I asked about the exact pronunciation of Ganesha Mantra. My heartiest gratitude to the list members who spared a few moments to share views. But unfortunately, I was not satisfied. After surfing a lot and researching, I got some information. It is actually pronounced as ‘Aum Gan Ganapataye Namah’. In ‘Gan’ , ‘n’ is nasal sound only. Neither it is ‘Gang’ nor ‘Gam’. But at the same time, ‘Gam’ cannot be ruled out completely. It is recited in ‘Aum Gam Goum Gannapataye Vignanaashine Swaaha’ and in Uchhisht Ganapati Mantra too. I am not that clever too decipher why in one mantra it is ‘Gan’ and in another ‘Gam’. I hope Guruji and learned members shall throw light on it.
