Guest guest
om am angarakaaya namah ----------------------- Dear Mr. ????? Do consider using the proper etiquettes while addressing the group and also sign your name at the end!!!!!!!!!!!!! FYI, I have added a BMP file containing the beeja mantra for both Angarakaa & Ganesha in sanskrit and with the transliteration. It is obvious that *gang* is written entirely different that *gam*, similarly *ang* and *am* have different scripts. So when the mantra specifically has *am* with a got on top of it, why should we pronounce it as *ang*. The same thing for *gam* and *gang*!!! People with half baked knowledge are running this list which could have been a great platform if a few serious learned members have shown dedication. > Mr. Skanda Kumar, if you have heard of mangal mantra Om Ang Angarkaya Namah, your confusion for the dot on the syllables would fade. I do consistently putforth the right pronunciation as Ms. Nisha rightly said " Om Gang Ganapataye Namah". It is not Gam in any way. > Regards. > > skanda_kumara <skanda_kumara@m...> wrote: om namoh bhagavathe rudraaya > ---------------------------- > > Dear Nisha, > > I am not an expert in Sanskrit, but nevertheless, this is basic.
