Guest guest
Dear Guru Ji, Jai Jagannath. I am gradually learning vedic astrology and at the same time, using it to determine some remedies to overcome hurdles and setbacks. Attached alongwith is my Rasi chart and D-9. Pls assess my deductions: * My Ishta Devata: Vishnu ( Mercury ) * Dharam Devta: Shiva ( Moon ) * Palan Karta: Shiva ( Moon ) 1) Also Saturn being my Yogakaraka planet and since it is weak, I think wearing Neelam will will help ?? If they are correct, I request you to advise me the way to determine the mantra for the above deities. I have gone through the chapters Compendium of Mantra and Mantrashastra but not been able to find as to which Mantra is advisable for me. 2) Kindly advise the importance of " Chalisaa"...like Hanuman Chalisa, Shiv Chalisa, TirupatiBalaji Chalisa etc... 3) Pls suggest some useful and ready reference material for performing morning and evening Pujas at home. I have been doing the Puja every morning and evening ever since I was 10 years old but have been doing it ( I think so ) in " my own fashion "....like... - reciting Shiva Chalisa - reciting Shiv Rudrashtakam - reciting Hanuman Chalisa - reciting SankatMochan Hanumanashtak - reading Sundarkaand - doing " Om namah Shivay "japa - doing the " MahaMantra : hare krsna hare krsna, krsna krsna hare hare...... - Offering water to Surya and saying the Gayatri Mantra while pouring water..... ****** Are all of the above in the referred sequence (1) right (2) should I continue (3) should the order be changed ...........anything that I should add/delete from my practice.....the right mathod etc etc......all advises will be of great help....I want to practice everthing in the right manner. Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ----------------- Dear Rajul, Moon & Venus will indicate feminin deities. Moon indicates Mother Durga. Mercury indicates a specific Vishnu Avatara, hence you must pic from the 10.. This can be seen in Rasi. Best wishes, Visti. - Rajul Kaushik sjvc Monday, May 06, 2002 9:41 PM [sjvc] learning/practicing through VRA Dear Guru Ji,Jai Jagannath.I am gradually learning vedic astrology and at the same time, using it todetermine some remedies to overcome hurdles and setbacks.Attached alongwith is my Rasi chart and D-9.
