Guest guest
Om Namo Naryanaya ----------------- 50 alphabets of Sanskrit starting from "a"(A) and ending with "ksha"(xa). Hence the alphabet is called *Akshara* The above excerpt is from the following link http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/Lessons/mantra.htm Our ancients in India realised NaarayaNa in every form thru work, study, saadhana et al. Nirukta, one of the Vedaanga-s deals with etymology and verbal explantion as well as analysis of words in order to undertsnad their original roots. YAKSHA's Nirukta is great work in this subject. Siksha, one of the Vedaanga-s deals with sounds and phonetics of the Veda-s: Gives correct instruction regarding correct pronounciation of the mantras and hymns-the accent, the time, the elongation of vowels and rules of euphonics. Jyotisha is one of the Vedaanga-s and eyes of "Veda Purusha" Purusha ------- Veda-s use almost every word in SamskR`ta to denote That Indescribable who permeated the creation after He Himself created it: "purusha" appears in several places (it means one who resides in the construct = Brahmaanda= uni-verse, the whole cosmos is "pura" here, ). Then there is "naaraayaNa" - one who occupied the "naaraa", the primordial matter in creation. Looking at the meaning of "purusha", the term "veda purusha" seems like a double statement - These from shaastrakaara-s. Our shaastrakaara-s coined then to convey certain aspects. "Veda Purusha" is about the Veda-s only. It is an aspect of That Indescribable aka Nirguna NaarayaNa- shruti declares that It is His breath - tasya nishvasitam veda. And these Max Muller, Mac Caulay, Wilson Tribes at Dept of Indology, Sanskrit of Various Western schools distort "purusha" as "Man" and reading all sorts of nonexistent human history and male chauvinism in the samhita mantra-s! All these disgusting MacCaulay slaves know that they can write any trash about Hinduism in English press and present to the equally uneducated English Hindus as some grand scholarly work. Our people go with that rubbish, hence we need to change that mindset - this is one way for that We have seen above, how elegantly, our ancients used Sanksr`tam words to denote Nirguna naarayana/That Indescribable. Bottom Line: ----------- Purusha = Man in Post-Aristotle western schools, but Purusha = That Indescribable, Narayana in Vedic schools aka Veda paatashaala-s.
