Believing in God { Was -query about 7 1/2 Sani & Kandaka sani

Namaste Visti & Shashank,

 

There is a sloka in Bhagavad-Gita, where The Lord is saying-

 

Ye yatha mam prapadyante tamstathaiva bhajamyaham

( As men approach Me, so I accept them to my love{bhajami})

 

If someone approach Him with love, He will give him love in abundance; if the

approach is with knowledge( Jnana), the response from Him will be an outpouring

of knowledge into the mind of the aspirant; if someone goes to Him with a little

belief, the Grace will gradually turn his mental belief into a luminous faith;

but if the approach to Him is with disbelief and scepticism, He will start

playing hide-and-seek with the person. So , Shashank , you see there is no

escape from Him.

 

I can remember an incidence in this regard. Many years ago, I was watching an

interview of Sri U. G. Krishnamurty( often addressed as the Spiritual Naxalite)

with the noted film director Mr Mahesh Bhatt on the television. Sri

Krishnamurty(not Jiddu Krishnamurty) was narrating an experience of his intense

meditation in the Ashram of Sri Raman Maharshi, and told Mr Bhat that due to his

intense meditation, the faith in God has ejected out of his mind which was

conditioned for thousands and thousands of years . I felt disturbed. I was

thinking of his meditation- what he was meditating about? I could not slept

that night. Next morning I went to my spiritual Master and narrated the

incidence to him. He smiled and replied ,' the person must have approched God

with disbelief, and God has responded the way he wanted.'

 

On that day the meaning of that sloka of the Bhagavad-Gita became clear to me.

I will be blunt. If you do not believe in God, then you cannot believe in

astrology. Hence you allready believe in God.

sorry to say but i dont believe in god........i dont know why i started learning

astrology probably because it fascinated me...........before joining this group

i thought astrology is a science..... our actions, thoughts are maneuvered by

gravitational attraction of planetary bodies but am still trying to find out

the *truth*...........same is the case with vedic remedies .......because one

cant see the other side of picture its hard to analyze whether something

happened naturally or through vedic remedies.....

 

shashank is in search of excellence ( god ??)

because transits are to be seen from moon and sade sathi is transit phenomenon

of saturn........i guess sade sathi is to be seen only from moon.......

 

lets say moon is 4th house for a particular person..........and he is running

sade sathi (seeing from lagna)......as soon as sade sathi ends .....another

71/2 cycle of saturn will start (now from moon)..............15 years of

continous suffering.......then we have kanataka sani both from moon and lagna

............when will this suffering end ..........it means transit of saturn is

always bad..........only god can save us from saturn........as sanjay ji pointed

out in his previous mail ......this is KALI yug ........we have to

suffer.......eagerly waiting for last *avatar* of lord vishnu.......only he can

save us

See Sade Sathi from Lagna and Moon.. these will have more bearing on the person in this life.

 

Same with Kanataka Sani.

 

Very rarely do we respond to the Sade Sathi on the Sun.

 

Study the Solar & Lunar Yogas given by Parasara, and other authors.

Explanation given by Ash is brilliant but he says --

 

"All results are to be studied from Moon, Sun and Lagna, (Mind, Spirit and Physical Body"

 

I have been taught that sade sati is to be seen from Moon only. Checking it from

moon, sun and lagna will make life difficult for natives who have sun and moon

in different houses but not in lagna.

 

pls clarify.

Dear Suresh,When Shani is transitting the 12th, 1st and 2nd house it is called

Sade Sati or 7.5 years that Shani takes to transit these house.Now Check the AV

strength of Shani. If it has less than 3 bindus and if any planet is giving 0

points in Sarvashatakavarga table for the 12th house then the effect of shani

will be felt very severely. Lower the bindu of shani the higher the effect

will be. The reason for this is that that for eg. if Shani has 1 bindu in AV,

it means that only 1 planet or lagna is helping it so the other planets are

not favouring shani (or opposing its natural tendencies to delay or depart a

person) hence in the significance of that planet shani cant cause havoc. If

shani has 3 bindus or greater the effect will be felt but it will be way better

that shani having 1 bindu.Check the strenght of shani for its results. As you

know that the natural tendency of Shani is to delay matters, so apply yourself

for the other houses. In the 8th house it is in the house of longetivity for

lagna, so depending on the strength of Shani, lagna etc it may cause problems.

4th house is that of Sukha sthan and Shani in 4th can delay or deny or depart

the signifhcance of 4th house etc etc....All results are to be studied from

Moon, Sun and Lagna, (Mind, Spirit and Physical Body).Hope that helps,Cheers
