Om gurave namah

Dear Sanjayji,

I have a question about the correct chart for the formation of the SJVC. In

your recent mail to Sailesh you referred to the SJVC's chart as having a Pisces

Vimsamsa Lagna while Narasimhaji gave the data for the SJVC on the vedic

astrology list (message # 13998) as 10 September 1998, 9:35am IST ,New Dehli.

Using this data, I'm getting a Vimsamsa lagna of Virgo. Can you (or other

learned members) help me see what is wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Best Wishes,

Karen

Om Gurave Namah ------------------------ Dear

Sailesh, Why after Makar Sankranti when people will be busy with 'harvesting'

and why not when the Sun is inSagittarius and Jupiter is exalted and

retrograde? Let the benefit of Jupiters exaltation go to all those who

participate..The Vimsamsa Lagna of SJVC is Pisces with Jupiter exalted in the

fifth house (hint on Brighu Transits!). Let the blessings of Maha Vishnu be on

all those who come to learn His ways. Choose the Midday to start when Pisces is

ascending with the great Guru in exaltation and the Moon forming a fine

relationship with the AL in scorpio i.e. trines in Pisces will be ideal or

Gajakesari with Pusya nakshatra will bring Sri Rama's eternal blessings in the

life. Best Regards, Sanjay Rath

Dear Karen

Thats a typo out there. Good you are alert. The chart for education is the

Siddhamsa D-24 which has Pisces rising and Jup is exalted. Thats the basis of

the Muhurta.

Dear Sanjayji,

Thanks for clearing up the chart for the SJVC . I wanted to look at it because

I was curious about some advice that you gave to your Bangalore students a

while back. In their first meeting you adviced them to worship Chamuni devi

and I didn't know why(message # 1976). The Atmakaraka for the SJVC is Rahu and

is placed in Taurus navamsha. The 12th house, Aries, is unoccupied and it's

lord, Mars is placed in an even sign in the rasi, which can represent Chamundi

devi. Do mundane charts having ista devatas? Is this the reason why you

adviced the worship? I'm also curious as to why you adviced ground floor or

basement. I hoping to hear the answer with their next meeting.

Many thanks for your guidance.

your sishya,

Karen

Om Guruave Namah,

Dear Karen,

Regarding gurudev sanjay;s advice for us (bangalore studetns) about chamundi

worship, he had said the eternal mother exists in many forms and since we are

from bangalore, chanmundi resides in Mysore, which is close by.

As regards to sanjay's other query about why first floor and not any other place

like basement etc and which planet guided us to ask for permission on the 1st

floor... well, we, sanjay;s students are still compemplating this among

ourselves. For me prasna for that time would logically be the starting point.

Since we are all a little slow in learning we are taking time to get back to

sanjay. But we will have an answer eventually.

Regards

Hari

Dear Hari,

Thanks for your mail. I really can't explain why the question remained with me.

It's good to know that Chamundi resides in Mysore which is close by. As for

the other question, I will leave it to you and your fellow Bangalore students

and await the reply. It's so nice that you have fellow students to meet with

regularly.

All the best in your studies,

Karen

Dear Karen,

Mundane charts have all the devata. However, the level shall be much lower

depending on the purpose of birth (mundane activity). For a mundane chart like

that of SJVC, we cannot taslk of Moksha for the organisation, so it would be

quite out of the mark to determine Ista devata. Instead what is very important

is the DHARMA DEVATA and here the ninth from Karakamsa is Capricorn which is

unoccupied and its lord Saturn is in Virgo. Thus for anyone who comes to SJVC,

the Dharma devata is Narayana. The conjunstion of Saturn with Mercury is also

very poignant and that too in Gemini (during the solar transit of this sign the

famous Rath Yatra of Sri Jagannath is held annually). Thus, the deity is a form

of Narayana and will be quite formless, yet having the purity of Rama (Mercury

in 1st drekkana). Note the presence of Mercury in Leo..this is Jagannath.

Sanjay Rath
