Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Jyotisha, Often we receive requests from the SJVC class students to join the Varahamihira class. I would like to clarify some points here. Due to the launching of Jyotish Digest magazine, many of the Gurus were tied up. Hence, the pace of the SJVC class has been slowed down in the last couple of months. Now, I hope we will pick up the momentum and soon you will get new lessons and appraisal of your assignments. We will not be admitting any new students directly into Varahamhira class. All the students will be screened and assessed in SJVC class and at an appropriate time, they will be automatically transferred to Varhamhira class, depending on their level of knowledge and contribution. When we transfer, a Guru will be designated to each student. You will be assessed based on your answers to the lesson questions, your fresh queries on astrological topics and your answers or replies to the queries asked by other students. So, simply answering lesson questions alone will not help. In SJVC, around 260 members are here. If at least one person posts one question in a week, there will be around 37 questions posted in a day. Further, when some body asks a question, everybody should not wait for the Gurus to come and answer those questions. The students must SEARCH for the answers and exchange. This is the way Gurudeva has taught us in Varahamihira. But, in SJVC, this involvement is missing. Except two or three students all others are not taking part actively. Until, you improve your contributions, admission to Varahamihira class will be pending. Thanks Solai Kannan
Guest guest
SRI RAMA RAMA RAMAETI ------------------------------ pujya gurujis and members, I concur with the observations made by guru Solaiji. I am also a new member of the group without any base and I personally feel that I do not have attained the required knowledge to participate in the discussions in as much as there are only doubts and doubts and always end up with questions. Eventhough I refer to books for all the doubts, I some time end up with more questions than in the previous cases. For all these, I feel that lesson on interpretation of Divisional Charts must be completed before embarking on participating in the discussions, answering questions. I wish to put forth many questions or doubts such as "SUPPOSING MOON IS ATMAKARAK FOR A PARTICULAR NATIVE OF SCORPIO LAGNA, WHAT IS POSITION OF THE AK SINCE CANCER HAPPENS TO BE BADHAK STHANA AND MOON IS BADHAKA...SUCH DOUBTS OFTEN CROP UP. I also feel that it is premature to ask some questions since we have not completed the basic lessons. I am trying to refer before putting forth any questions. I wish that the lesson on DIVISIONAL CHARTS is forthcoming. with regards, vasu(dkv_rao) sjvc, "Solai Kannan" <solai@i...> wrote: > OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH > JAYA JAGANNATHA > > Namaste Jyotisha, > > Often we receive requests from the SJVC class students to join the > Varahamihira class. Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Vasu, I appreciate that you come forward and express your opinion. You need not set a limitation that unless you learn Divisional chart you cannot ask a question or participate in the discussion. See, simply by asking a question it serves 3 purpose. 1. It kindles the other members to think and respond. So your question helps others to think. 2. It keeps you thinking about the question and you may get a better answer than answered by others (it happens to me several times) 3. It helps to review your level. So, you can ask the questions without waiting for anything. Whether somebody is answering or not is not important. Regarding your question, frame the question this way. (Leave the Atmakaraka now. I am planning to give you a write up about understanding Atmakaraka) " for all sthira rasi, bagya sthanathipathi is the badhakesh, how come a planet which gives bagya become badhaka?"
