Namaste,

Sanjay points out in his book that Ketu Conjoined with Surya forms Siva Yoga...

Yet when I look to BV Raman's 300 important yogas - Siva yoga is defined

as lord of the 5th in the 9th and lord of 10th us in the 5th.

Can Someone comment on this?

Not only that, recently in Vedic astrology group Siva Yoga is

discussed as Yoga between Ketu & Moon. Could someone clarify please.

Om Gurave Namah

Dear Frank,

The combination of Siva yoga between Sun and Ketu makes sense and according

to your quote from Raman's book also makes sense.

Natural 5th is Leo= Sun

Natural 9th is Sagittarius and Ketu is exalted in Sagittarius.

Conducive spiritual combination of course :)

well, This is given in CoVA.

Moon(mind) joins with Rahu(material) - Shakti Yoga

Moon and Ketu(spiritual) - Shiva Yoga. This conjoinment could be in

trines from Lagna, if i recall correctly.

Best Regards,

VR

Dear VR,

Yes, your can see the link clearly with the yogas rulership of the

nakshatra lords with the planets' placements in those houses. Though in the

case of Moon the hint could also be that Rahu is in the nakshatra of Rohini

which is Moon's mooltrikona. [Can Moon tolerate Rahu though ?]
