Guest guest
LESSON 3 Q.1. The next question is which Graha should be given the over-lordship of this twelve-fold division or the twelve signs of the zodiac and why ? MESHA - Mangal (Kuja) VRISHABHA - Sukra MITHUNA - Budha KARKATA - Chandra SIMHA - Surya KANYA - Budha TULA -Sukra VRISHIKA - Mangal (Kuja) DHANU - Guru MAKARA - Sani KUMBHA - Sani MEENA - Guru It was the willing of Lord Vishnu. Lordships are simmetric concerning the axis Simha - Kumbha (except Simha and Karkata). Q.2. Make a schematic representation of the Earth, Bha-Chakra with its 12 spokes and mark out the areas of Nara & Narayana. The whole universal expanse (Narayana) is divided into four parts (fundamental division of the Bha-Chakra which is a symbolic body of Narayana). These four parts are called kendras (quadrants). Three of parts are imperceptible (Maha Vishnu in Satwa Guna, Param Brahma in Rajas Guna and Sada Shiva in Tamas Guna). The fourth part is Vasudeva, and one of its two parts is inperceptible (Vasudeva) and another one is perceptible (Krishna). Regarding the prevailing Guna the Bha-Chakra is divided into three parts, and such parts are called trikonas (trines). In the two-dimensional presentation of Narayana (percieved form) we consider a circle of 360 degrees where the radius is infinite (Narayana), but as Jyotisha we need a finite radius (Nara), and this approach creates a dual concept Nara-Narayana. This finite radius is defined by Grahas that can affect human lives. To accomodate two divisions (3 and 4 parts) in the Bha-Chakra we take the least common multiple of 3 and 4 and get 12-fold division. The result is a Rasi Chakra with 360 degrees and 12 Rasi of 30 degrees each. The starting point is the zero degree of Mesha. -
