Paka Lagna plus evaluation of lesson 4

Dear Members,

i have a persisting doubt regarding Paka Lagna. Can somebody tell me what is to

be seen from Lagna & what is to be seen from Paka Lagna, in clear terms?

Also, when Lagna lord is in Lagna itself, then Lagna & Paka Lagna are the same.

What is the significance of this?

spectulate that these positions support your expectationof increased

Arudhas, argalas andspecial lagnas.At birth Rahu mahadasa was running & some 8

years and 5 months of itwere left.Lagna is in Scorpio. Mars is the Lagna lord,

being placed in a dualsign and Ketu is the co-lord.Mars ® is placed in the 8th

house, conjunct 9th lord moon, aspectedby Jupiter in strength & ayush karaka

Saturn from 2nd house. Moon &Mars in the 8th house gave me a weak constitution.

With the maturityof Jupiter my health problems disappeared and ever since, but

for anoccasional cold, I am keeping a robust health.Retrograde Mars made me an

introvert (though not an extreme case).Many planets in the invisible half in my

Rasi chart only confirmthis. As a result, I am unlike a martian. Violence is

always an afterthought for me and thanks to Jupiter's aspect is quickly

dismissed.Lagna is only aspected by Sun in Capricorn. To begin with I

lackeddesires/ ambitions in life. Because of Sun in 3rd house, I see

mydesires/ambitions growing steadily with age. My first job camewithout me

desiring much, but with the maturity of Sun in 22-23 Istarted having ambition

in career area (Sun is the 10th lord).Second & 5th lord Jupiter is in his moola

trikona sign (andvargottama), conjunct Saturn (vargottama). It is aspected by

Mars andMoon from Gemini and Venus from Pisces. It also receives 5th aspectfrom

Rahu (vargottama) in 10th house.Battle of Jupiter-Saturn combination, in the two

mahadasas of Jupiter& Saturn so far. Not much to speak about Jupiter mahadasa.

Formalschooling started late, happened with the commencement of Jupitermahadasa

(1969). My first job also happened in Jupiter-Moon.Gajakesari did not fructify

in early life (though in 2nd-8th axis).Sustenance was ensured in Jupiter

mahadasa. I was much happier andclosure to home during Jupiter dasa, compared

to Saturn dasa, so far.With the onset of Saturn dasa, went away from home to

north -easternpart of the country(effect of Jupiter), to Assam. Saturn as the

4thlord, caused the shift away from home and being in 2nd house posedproblems

on food front. However, Mars as lagna lord is opposingSaturn, made sure that I

learnt cooking. (Interestingly, Saturn tookcontrol slowly and moved me westward

from Assam to Bihar to Bombay toOman to UK , over 15 years) I still stay away

from home, in Bombay(west of birth place) at present. Mercury, a functional

malefic isplaced in the 4th house and is afflicted by Ketu in it. Duringboyhood

it was always playing for long hours away from home! Saturnmahadasa took me away

from my home and my mother, a very painfulexperience indeed! Saturn aspects by

graha drishti the 4th house andcreates a strong desire for home and mother, but

hardly gives achance. Will the present Saturn-Jupiter give it? Otherwise, how

willI repay my karmic debts to my parents?Saturn being in 11th from 4th house,

enhanced other significationslike own house and vehicles.Career progress did

take place during Saturn mahadasa so far. Saturnis the dispositor of the 10th

lord Sun and also Sun is the star lordof Saturn (as per vimshottari), besides

being a karaka forprofession. This explains the professional progress during

Saturnperiod.Saturn - Ketu gave marriage.With the maturity of Saturn, in Saturn

- Mars, I went abroad.Continued to stay abroad for job initially and for higher

studieslater on, spending lots of money (in Saturn-Rahu). As Venus is thestar

lord of Rahu and also 7th & 12th lord, this period gave a veryexpensive

overseas study.Saturn- Rahu turned me towards God (god help me! situation). I

amleaving out the Atmakaraka part of it. Saturn - Rahu gave me adaughter (Venus

exalted in 5th house). Birth of a child is delayed asJupiter is in the 2nd house

and 5th is its nadir and also because of12th house connection of Venus, a

functional malefic.I could only resume my career in Saturn-Jupiter (year=365

days),recently. I hope Saturn-Jupiter will give me knowledge of thescriptures,

grounding in astrology and unfolding of some of thepotential jnana yogas in my

chart.Mercury:Mercury is the 8th and 11th lord is in the 4th.As 8th lord in 4th

gives interest in occult studies and astrology. Itis joined there by Ketu, which

should only enhance these interests.Basically Mercury dasa should be a period of

intellectual pursuits &prosperity (Mercury is dispositor of Subhapathi),

although with asense of detachment due to Ketu.Ketu:Co-lagna lord in the 4th

house, I am expecting, will turn me towardsspiritualism and probably to some

amount of ascetism as well.Venus:Could see daughter coming into limelight and

some dharmic activity(Venus exalted in 10th from Moon) as well, if still

around.Now I have a question. I have my lagna lord (Brahma) in Gemini, 2ndlord,

Jupiter (Vishnu) in Saggitarius and 7th lord, Venus (Siva) inPisces. These three

Mahapurusha Yoga results as there is no mismatch between the intelligence

directions of the lord and the native himself. So also if there is a

parivartana Yoga between Lagna and Paka lords. Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Bhagavan
