Guest guest
Dear teachers at SJVC, Thank you for accepting me as a student of SJVC. I would be happy to if anyone could guide me as to the correct procedure of doing this 'course' and what is required from me to learn/understand jyotish, at least a little bit. 1. Am I supposed to study the lessons one by one and post the assignments to the list? 2. Is there any time frame for it? For I would have to balance it with my other work commitments. 3. A list of books was forwarded when I joined the list. I cannot purchase them all at once, but will do so gradually. Which are the books I should purchase immediately? I live in Delhi, so I suppose I could get them from Sagar. 4. I already have the following: a) An online version of BPHS b) An online version of Gargacarya's Garga Hora c) An online version of Prithuyasas's Hora Sara d) An online version of Kalyan Verma's Saravalli e) Sarvartha Chintamani f) Bhavartha Ratnakara g) A few books by B. V. Raman h) Predictive Astrology by L. C. Sharma Can I use the online version of the BPHS? Should I use any of the other classics? Or is it advisable that I use them at a later stage, when I have become a little bit more familiar with jyotish? 5) Are there any particular exercises I should do? My apologies for taking your time over these trivialites, Thanking you in advance, Sarbani Attachment: vcard [not shown]
