2-There are different characters of each planet is mentioned through out the

lesson. Identify from your own chart, at least one character of each planet

from your Rasi and Navamsa and write how does it influences you during its dasa

or antardasa.

Answer:

The Sun is in the twelfth in the Rasi. Being in the twelfth and representing

atma, the self and action and initiative in my case it influenced in my

decision to chose living in a community where there is a Temple where I worship

God. I also take part in the activities as a humble serve there. As it

represents the father, and being in the twelfth house – in my opinion- it

caused the absence of my father during childhood. I am now in the Sun Mahadasa,

although it is in the 12th house, I did not have much problem with health as it

rules my sixth house, I only had to star using glasses, which is surely

understood as the Sun rules the Vision (right eye). But what most happened to

me was increasing the interest in certain areas of studies, where I luckily

found Jyotish. So, to me this Sun in twelfth has been a friend, bringing me up

wonders in matter of learning about my soul, and so taking me to the path of

God. In both charts, Rasi and Navamsa it is in Aquarius. A sign of Sani, which

helps me to follow ardently in search of the real path to the true.

The Moon is in her own sign – Cancer - in the fifth house. It represents the

mother. In this respect I cannot say much as I did not know my mother, but I

can surely state about the mind, which the Moon represents. My mind is very

active and curious. As a woman I feel that this position of the Moon is

responsible for my deep interest in taking care of my home. In my opinion woman

has a great responsibility in the world, because if she behaves adequately the

world can be better, as she with the possibility of educating children,

respecting and loving the husband, giving them comfort, peace, feeding body and

mind. So, I guess because of the position of my Moon in Cancer in fifth (the

mind inclined to home and feminine affairs) I try to give examples with my way

of living of good behave, be zealous with my home which I love to take care and

family, be respectful in words and thoughts and always look for what God wants

from me as a woman. In the Navamsa it is debilitated in Capricorn and I guess

it helps to increase my sense of duty with the above-mentioned factors. In Rasi

it is waxing and I guess it helps me to have a happy and enthusiastic view of

life. I also learned in this lesson that gemstone for the Moon is pearl, which

is also my favourite one. I did not enter my Moon dasa, but I have realized

that during the antardasa of Moon is a time of joy and pleasure to me.

Mars is in Gemini in the fourth. As the ruler of Ninth and second and present in

the fourth, Mars gives me strength to care on with problems that may

occasionally surge in my house. I feel I am like the strength from where all

wait the solution. As an army chief, I sometimes funnily behave like this in

asking for order and tiding up of things at home. I think its position in the

first house in Sagittarius in Navamsa helps to increase this tendency. I also

saw in this lesson that Mars is in all fiery places, so it is interesting that

the first thing I asked to be planed when projecting my house was to build fire

place in the house (Mars in the fourth). I still did not enter the Mars dasa,

but during its antardasa, activity, mainly the physical one is increased with

household.

Mercury in Aquarius in the twelfth in Rasi and in Scorpio in the twelfth in

Navamsa. This Mercury position has helped me much with my interest for studying

astrology. Since I was a child I loved to think of the star of each person. I

was born During Mercury Mahadasa, it was not an easy period regarding wealth,

but it was plenty of spiritual experiences and also it took me to get initiated

in many contact of this kind which I keep until nowadays. I have facility to

express myself through written and speaking.

Jupiter is in Capricorn in the Eleventh in the Rasi and in Aquarius in the third

in Navamsa. This planet in my opinion has taken me to the spiritual path since

childhood, although it is in two Saturn’s sign, both in Rasi and Navamsa, I

think this might have increased my absolute will in follow only in the

direction of the knowledge of God’s will. Jupiter also rulers my first house in

Rasi and Navamsa making myself deeply involved in the above mentioned affairs.

As the ruler of the Tenth house in Rasi, now I know why I chose to be a

Jyotisha, so that I can help people to find the right path in the Gati of

Truth. Jupiter’s antardasa are always wonderful, plenty of knowledge news. It

was also during one Jupiter antardasa that I went to live in abroad.

Venus is in Pisces in the first in Rasi and in Pisces in the fourth in Navamsa.

This Venus gives me the love for what is beauty. I like helping people when

needy, and provide them comfort. I really suffer with people suffering. It is a

kind of impulse to offer myself in this way, and I think this might be due to

this placement of Venus. Flowers are other thing I like to take care. A garden

with beautiful flowers is important in a house in my opinion and I think this

is due to this Venus too. My Venus dasa was good and brought me very good

experiences in terms of taught regarding relationship with people in general.

Saturn is in the Eleventh in Rasi and in the Second in Navamsa. In both charts

it is in Capricorn. I have felt Saturn antardasa as very disciplining in a way

that obligates me to pay attention to points sometimes I neglect. As it is

along with Jupiter in the Eleventh house, this Saturn has taken me to be

disciplined and a deep searcher in the spiritual path. My friends are those who

have the same ideal as me – spiritual one. I like discipline I feel it as

something necessary as life to goes on.

Rahu is in Leo in the sixth in Rasi and in Cancer in the eight in the Navamsa. I

guess this position of Rahu help me to deciding in having a formation at school

as a nurse, something involved with health. As I was always very curious about

this subject during school I decide to follow this path in school. It was

almost compulsive my desire to know about the human body and health, but also

help, hence I decided for nurse. I also have a very strong inclination for

herbal medicine and spiritual healings. Rahu antardasa brings me experiences in

the areas I mentioned above.

Ketu is in Aquarius in the twelfth house in Rasi and is in Capricorn in the

Second house in Navamsa. The placement of Ketu in the two signs of Saturn gave

me disposition to give up pleasures in change of spiritual living. My Ketu Dasa

was difficult regarding wealth but plenty of fruits regarding spirituality. I

made my first contacts- just as in Mercury Dasa – during this period. I become

since a child attached to religion and I think this placement of Ketu tells of

this. I also like to be with myself in silence and quietude. To me is a real

pleasure be able to meditate in silence and quiet, as my twelfth house Ketu

indicates. The first thing most important in my life is spirituality and I

guess this Ketu, along with Sun and Mercury in Aquarius in the twelfth house

gifted me with the tools in this life to do that.

My sincere gratitude for your kind lessons.

Yours faithfully, Sandra Lucia.
