Respected Solaiji and Jyotish Gurus,

 

I am one of those silent members. Please excuse me for delay in answering. It

took a considerable time for me to understand this beautiful and informative

lesson, specially to corelated my life happenings with the various dasas. I

have enclosed my chart in jhd format and my answer is as follows for your

evaluation, though my attempt is incomplete and I myself not very much happy

with my answer.

 

I shall be answering Solaiji's short exercise seperately,

 

LESSON 4 ANSWER:

 

Q1. Using your own chart identify the sign each planet is in, state if the

planet is in its own sign, exaltation, detriment or moolatrikona. List the sign

and degree placements of each planet.

Other aspects of the chart,

1. 12L Sat in 6th , Vimala yoga-gives independent nature

2. 6L Moon and 8L Mercury in 8th, aspected by sat, mars & rahu. Might be

a strong veepareet yoga. I am not very sure about it.

3. Ve in neechabhanga yoga, aspected by sat, mars and rahu. Neechabhanga

may be caused by conjunct Mercury or Rahu

4. Kala Amrita yoga present. Perhaps it has matured at my age of 48

years. I am not sure how it acted, but surely Rahu mahadasa was very good

period in my life and every achievement was very smooth. After 48th year

everything requires extra effort.

5. Moon is in marana karaka sthana produces lack of happiness & excess

fluid. I am not sure how to interpret this.

6. Sat is in 3rd from AL-gives material benefit but slowly

7. Jup is in 6th from AL-give spirituality but being in badhaka sthana it

gave so out of much troubles during its mahadasa.

8. Jup being AK and 11L, gave interest in astrology. 10L mars in 5H and

its aspect (by both graha and rashi dristi) on strong 8H (occult knowledge)

perhaps helped the same.

 

Q2. There are different characters of each planet is mentioned through out the

lesson. Identify from your own chart, at least one character of each planet

from your Rasi and Navamsa and write how does it influences you during its dasa

or antardasa.

 

Sun:

Sun is the king of my chart in real sense, specially as he is the swavarga 7th

lord and also yogi planet. He is khsatriya by nature and Amk. This has given me

many friends in good position in management and also proximity to higher

mangement people during its antardasas and subdasas. 7th sun has given

capability of independent work and most probably brought me into business

Ju-Sa-Su dasa caused foreign travel and financial benefit.

Ju-Ve-Ra dasa caused my resignation from service and starting own business. May

be because rahu is in sun's star.

 

Moon:

Moon is the manas. She is the 6th lord in 8th and sattvic in nature. This has

given me inclination to occult knowledge. This is her maranakaraka sthana. This

might have resulted in my lack of happyness with existing circustances during

its antardasas and subdasas.

rah-moon period gave me lot of worries in work as well as personal fronts.

Jup-Moon period also caused much expenditure.

 

Mecury:

Mercury is intelligence. he is PK, swavarga 8th lord with debilated venus (DK)

and 6th lord Moon (GK). Both venus and moon are natural benefics. So mercury

should be benefic in my chart. Being in occult 8th house - it has given me

interest in such subjects and logic to understand. It is also lord 5th house

(higher learning) as well as A5.

Rahu-Mer-Mer period caused my marriage, probably because it is with my DK venus

 

Venus:

Venus is debilated but in neechabhanga. She is my badhaka lord also in 8th. She

is rajasic and passion, so her placement in 8th should be good. I am not

sure-when and how the neechabhanga will occur.

During Ra-Ve-Ve period my 2nd child a daughter was born. Ve is with Mer (PK).

This might be the reason. Also in D7 - asc is in Pi an even house. So counting

backward 5th house has Rahu. My 1st child was a male one and might be due to

presence of Rahu in 5th (also 12th aspect of rahu on 5th house in rashi and

presence of Mars there), the issue was lost. 3rd from it is virgo, aspected by

exaulted venus and mercury in taurus. This might have caused the 2nd one a

female child. Mercury is with ketu in D7. So no more issue.

During Ju-Ve dasa much problem was there in personal and proffessional

front-which ultimately caused my starting own business.

 

Mars:

Mars is my 3rd and 10th lord in 5th house of ability. He is the energy and

strength. 5th house has dristi of Rahu-who is in the house of Venus which has

given me ability in artistic persuits as well as performing arts like drama

etc. It has got graha dristi of Jup from badhaka sthana. 5th placement of 10th

lord Mars might have also given me engineering proffession.

Jup-Mar period caused accute financial crisis. Might be because Mars is in 12th house in D10

 

Jupiter:

Jupiter is my AK, 2nd and 11th lord and in badhaka sthana. Throughout my jupiter

mahadasa I faced various problems in personal and proffessional fronts but was

gradually drawn towards spirituality-which has totally changed my outlook.

During this dasa only I started learning astrology. Being in Gajakeshari yoga

in my 4th house of D10, it also gave me good name in my proffessional circle.

 

Saturn:

He is my asc. lord, old, very strict and disciplined. He moves slowly, teaches

and moulds one slowly for the future. His 6th placement in Cancer is supposed

to be good. I hardly fall ill or even fall ill-hardly bed ridden. He has also

aspect on 8th house. I am not sure how to explain it. But definitely Sat

mahadasa is slowly bringing good results in all fronts.

 

Rahu:

Rahu is desire and tamasic. It is exaulted, in the house of Venus and so is to

act like exaulted venus. In fact Rahu mahadasa and all antardasas had been very

good for me from materialistic view point.

5th house of ability has dristi of Rahu. This must have given me ability in

artistic persuits as well as performing arts. During my Rahu mahadsa, I got

ample chances to bring out my this ability-which was acclaimed by all.

Rahu is in my 4th house actually caused me to leave my home town during Rahu-Jup

dasa and for betterment only. During Jup-Ven-Rahu dasa I purchased my flat in

Mumbai and one of my long time desire was fulfilled.

Ketu:

10th house placement of Ketu has given me ability in mathematics and computer.

Ketu antardasas have not been good for me.

Rahu-Ketu: I lost my 1st child

Jup-Ketu: lot of problems from all fronts

I am to see how my Sat-Ketu will be.
