Guest guest
Namaste All, Please scan the following pages to find your name with the comments regarding your Lesson #4 work. The names have been taken without any specific order. Although I believe I have gathered all the lessons, if after March 12th you have not seen your name, please write me Phyllis (Phyl) Chubb: aboutyou (AT) cnx (DOT) net) and re-send your lesson. General comments: The 20 people who completed this exercise have demonstrated both the value of reviewing basics and of focusing on themselves. This is how we learn. For the most part the assignments were brief and to the point whereas some were mini-books that contained much enthusiasm and joy of learning. Such enthusiasm is nothing short of a joy to read however, being concise does have a value. It has been a privilege to read everyones work and share in your lives. If you have any questions just write me. Phyl Chubb. BIMAL KURL- You wrote that your Sun in Leo was in detriment, I assure you this is not so and I am sure this was nothing more than a typo. However, I am calling your attention to it as we must learn to be very careful of what we say and what we write. It sounds like your chart is accurate according to your life events. CHIDAMBARAM- Be king to yourself as you prepare for the Ketu dasa period. Remember Ketu is the Mahamoksha planet so rather look for troubles it may be wise to look for greater spiritual understanding. AJIT KRISHNAN – You have woven a variety of principles into your answers very well. PARTHA – Your compact and accurate delivery has been appreciated. Would you be kind enough to share your birth time with me? I have a hunch that requires seeing your full set of charts. DAVID BURROWS – Your answers were clear and well reasoned. May I remind you that life is lived one moment at a time. Long range plans are always subject to change. May I suggest you check out the 8-Fold Path of Buddhism? Certainly not be become a Buddhist but rather to explore them as simple lessons of living. Remember, Buddha was not a god so you should find no conflict. LAKSHMI – Wonderful and very insightful. May you teaching bring you peace. VASU - You have a fine way of blending information. It was good to read that you were blessed with a daughter. KAREN SKOLER – In future there will be classes not only on Vimshottari dasa there will be teaching on all of the different dasas. I know the basics seem to be less interesting than the ‘really deep stuff’ however the ‘really deep stuff’ is all based on a solid foundation of basic stuff. CHITRA WIJEWICKRARNA – With three planets vargotthama you certainly will find life to be full. Also, I have appreciated your concise writing style. GOPAL KRISHAN DODA – You too have presented your work in a concise fashion, thank you. There is an old adage that may bring joy to your heart, "To have even one friend in life is to have great riches." FRANK SCHMIDT – It is possible that the dasa of Venus will bring you great pleasure through spiritual pursuits. As for the Sani dasa you are currently experiencing, are you feeling any joint difficulties? DARPAHA – It was good to see your acknowledgement of the combined rulership of Scorpio! Congratulations on the shift in your status that will occur soon. May your child be healthy and a joy to your life. VISHAL – The teaching your referred to regarding a retrograde and debilitated malefic in a trikona are what correct according to my understanding as well. The duality of benefit and challenge provided by the same planet can definitely be seen as positive learning on your part. ZILKA – I trust your trip to India has been all you hoped for. If you are interested, write me personally and I will give you a suggestion for dealing with that youthful mind of yours. Remember, the world needs generalists! DILIP BANERJEE – Very compact and accurate. Job well cone. SARASWATHY- There is considerable controversy about the rulership etc of Rahu and Ketu, however for our purposes I suggest you look on page 29 of Narashimha Rao’s book Vedic Astrology for the positions used by Sanjay. What wonderful gifts a Sade Sati period can bring to us! You are indeed fortunate. MOHAN HEGDE – You have assessed your chart well however I would like to suggest that you have more power than you are taking credit for. Also, be kind toward Saturn as without this positive influence how would we develop the discipline and routine so necessary to our goals? MAJID BUELL – Please read p. 29 of Narasimha Roa’s Vedic Astrology to see the list of planetary dignities. If you are still in British Columbia please write me. Rahu dasa has certainly opened new doors of perception for you. K.N.SRIRAM – Good insight! Now to your questions: seeking to get to the bottom of matters is related to the Sun being placed in the Nakshatra of Mrigashira a very curious nakshatra. Sukra in the 8th is a strong placement and will contribute to esoteric and metaphysical studies in your case. People will feel better after speaking with you again because of the Nakshatra your Sun is placed in. Regarding your father: see the rasi aspects to the sun. VISHWA KRISHNAMURTHY – Very well presented and discussed.
Guest guest
HARE RAMA KRISHNA OM GURAVE NAMAH Pujya Gurudevi, Thanks for your evaluation and replies to my questions. You had said that to see my father's behaviour, I have to see the Rasi aspects on Sun. The Sun is aspected by Rahu and Kethu. Rahu is in the nakshatra of Mars. If Rahu, a Tamasic planet aspects the Pitru Karak, it should do so more for me for Rahu is placed in vargotthama in ascendant . But, unlike my father, I am not an alcoholic(atleast till now). That brings me back to the same question of how to find an alcoholic father from the chart. Kindly guide me. Thanks, Your sishya K.N.Sriram sjvc, "Phyl Chubb MA" <aboutyou@c...> wrote: > Namaste All, > > Please scan the following pages to find your name with the comments regarding your Lesson #4 work.
