It's nice to see how your American shishyas cooperate to organize this West

Coast conference. But what about the one planned for July in India? Is it going

to realised? Because me and Swee Chan were thinking of attending it. So please

tell us if there's any concrete plans for that venue.

Thanks for the ride offer. I'm looking forward to being there and am wondering

what gift to give to all of you. Should it be the complete kalachakra with

deities, yogini, 28 nakshatra and all that or perhaps something on Chakra's

including the Kundalini, akshara shrishthi, mantra, creation of sound and all

that..lets see. perhaps the entire foundation of Jyotish starting from the

ashta-vasavah, ekadasa Rudra, dwadasa aditya, Prajapati 7 Indra which is the

basis of Jyotish. I leave the choise to you. You can tell me 15 minutes before

the lecture also. With the mercy of Jagannath, I will remember all that is

San Francisco. I can pick up people at the airport...also I can pick up Sanjay

or Robert too..whatever is needed. I can pick you up at Oakland or San

Francisco International airport.I can take 4 people in my car (not including

i was at the temple today with Sridhar Swami maharaj..I consider it my good

fortune to get to spend time with such holy people. I think summer is going to

be tough as the heat will be killing everyone. Pearl has suggested 'cooler'

months. August I will be in the USA and Diwali should have been ideal by the

looks of it. November will be in Kerala. So, I will have to compromise for some

time in December when it is cooler. I think i will organise this is Puri myself.

That way you all get to eat Mahaprasad from the jagannath temple everyday and

swim in the sea in the morning, trek along the sand reciting the mantra, visit

temples in the neighbourhood, get a copper plate reading from the Achyuta Gaddi

at Kakatpur and know how easy life can be...

What do you all say? If you agree, i can speak to my people in Orissa and get

this organised. Poojas etc are dead cheap and Mahaprasad costs nothing keepig

in view Ramakrishna Paramhamsa's words that there is no food in the three

worlds with the purity of the Mahaprasad of Jagannath.

Think again..Do you want the hills and the chill or the warmth and simplicity of

Jagannath Puri. this will also be your chance to see the real simple Orissa.

maybe i can talk to a few local erstwhile kings and we can slo visit their

palaces and see the palmleafs..maybe you can have your personal palmleaf

horoscope written by a pandit as he chants the Bhagavat Gita for your pooja

purposes later.

Think again and be firm this time..

Pearl says that she will be coming with a whole group. That way the tickets are

cheaper and so will the accomodation etc be. It all depends. There is the

alternative of arranging the same in Ireland where I alone have to travel and

that will be cheaper for everyone. Is that fine for you, but then in India the

worshop will be long and very detailed .. i wanted to cover divisional charts.
