Guest guest
Dear Gurus & friends Could someone please correct my understanding in terms of the DIFFERENCE in the PRIMARY significators for various commonly used/ mixed significators for appearance vs health vs personality, etc as summarised below from my understanding (pl ignore secondary factors; also any additional comments within each set, for how each significator addresses DIFFERENT aspects of it, would be of help, except the obvious ones): a) Health (ie overall susceptibility to attacks): Lagna Lord, 6th lord, Karakamsa (in d-1 & 9), AK, St (as karaka). Others= 8L, badhakesh & other marakas = specific diseases, not overall health. b) Physique = stronger of Lg vs Sn & 7th to that. c) Appearance (physical features, eg fair): Lagna in charts d-1/3/esp 9. d) Personality (ie perceived by others, eg jolly): strongest planet in chart, Lagna in d-1 & d-9, Sn-sign, Mn-sign, AL. e) Internal drivers/ Moral character (eg crook): 4, HL, d-27, Mn, 3/malefics(as instinctive mind), 9/Jp (as higher mind) Regards Nandan --- Sanjay Rath <srath wrote: > om gurave namah > ------------------------ > Dear Sailesh, > Comments given under: > With best wishes > Sanjay Rath > Web: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com > Services: http://sanjayrath.tripod.com/zservices.htm > Jyotish Digest: http://jyotishdigest.com/ > SJVC: http://www.sjvc.org/ > - > Shailesh > sjvc > Thursday, February 28, 2002 8:00 AM > Re: [sjvc] SJVC Hyderabad Group - First meeting > > > Dear Lakshmi, > > Dear Lakshmi, > > > > Yes, some points which should have been mentioned in the earlier post > are: > > > > > ego: > > [consensus was that SUN, the King, is significator of ego, the > natural > attribute of royalty. > > > > Shiv Chadha, in his book 'Significators. . . .', attributes > 'ego, > pride, arrogance, haughtiness' to Sun, on the authority of > Jeevanath's Bhava > Prakash. > > > > I may also add that SUN is Karaka for self - 'AHAM' and > 'AHAMKAR' > comes from misplaced importance given to 'AHAM' . Guest guest
Vyam Vysadevaya Namah ------------------------ Dear Nandan, Health and Energy at birth it ruled by Sun. Sun being the Atma and energy in the horoscope, should not be afflicted. Hence see the enemies towards Sun, and their influence on Lagna. Also Atmakaraka and Lagna Lord should be treated in the same way. AK in 6th/8th in Navamsa, shows that the soul must work really hard to attain its desires. Hence birth and health is hard/bad. Appearance is usually attributed to the beuty of the skin. Skin is ruled by Prithvi Tattwa; Mercury and all enemies of the Prithvi Tattwa; i.e. Agni & Vayu Tattwa, will ruin the skin. Hence; Mars, Sun, Saturn and Rahu will ruin the skin, and their influence on Lagna will hence be bad for the appearance. Jala & Akasha Tattwa Grahas, give beutiful skin. Personality is seen from the Lagna. How others percieve it is seen from Arudha Lagna, and the Morals are seen from Navamsa Lagna. Best wishes, Visti >Dear Gurus & friends > >Could someone please correct my understanding in terms of the >DIFFERENCE in the PRIMARY significators for various commonly used/ >mixed significators for appearance vs health vs personality, etc as >summarised below from my understanding (pl ignore secondary factors; >also any additional comments within each set, for how each significator >addresses DIFFERENT aspects of it, would be of help, except the obvious >ones): > >a) Health (ie overall susceptibility to attacks): Lagna Lord, 6th lord, >Karakamsa (in d-1 & 9), AK, St (as karaka). Guest guest
Dear Visti, Just a small adds.. > Jala & Akasha Tattwa Grahas, give beutiful skin. > Budha also may give beautiful skin if associated with Lagna, and Navamsa sign of Chandra would give the complexion > > Personality is seen from the Lagna. > How others percieve it is seen from Arudha Lagna, and the Morals are seen > from Navamsa Lagna. Navamsa Lagna in addition determines the physicall appearance.. That is the rule often given in classics. -- Zoran Radosavljevic Jyotish Teacher at Shri Jagannath Vedic Centre mails: ahimsa ahimsa web address: http://www.sjvc.co.yu
