Dear

Gurus of SJVC, pranaam. Here is my very late attempt at lesson 4:

color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">:

Is

placed in the fifth in Pisces and is aspected by 5th Lord Jupiter:

In the Mahadasha of the Sun, I lost interest in materialistic life and took to

spirituality and studying vedic literature. This

happened exactly in the year of maturation of the Sun (age 21 to 22). I gave up

studying law and completely focused on self-realization. Because the Sun is in

the 7th from Arudha Lagna, My father resented this fact. The Sun and

Jupiter are sattvic planets and the fifth is a house of devotion, so I

specifically became attracted to the path of Bhakti in the Dasha of the Sun.

Being my tenth Lord and being aspected by Jupiter, the Sun Dasha caused me to

be involved in book publishing, editing and writing which continued in the

dasha of the Moon. Jupiters aspect on the Sun made my father a philosophical

person with high ideals.

The

Moon:

Vargottama

Moon is in Leo in the tenth house. It is aspected by all planets but Jupiter. My

mother was a very hard working and somewhat dominant and passionate woman,

sucessfully managing the family business (hotel). She was very well known in

our town. In my Moon dasha my guru (Moon = 9th Lord) had a very

strong influence on my career. Throughout Moon Dasha my main focus was on

spiritual life. Because the Moon is in the 12th from AL, I was not

interested in name, fame, career and making money at all and even if I would

have tried for these things, they might have evaded me.The Moon Dasha brought a

great deal of long distance travelling and residence in foreign countries.

Being aspected by the seventh Lord Venus, the

Moon gave marriage but along with it came marital turbulence due to the aspect

of Saturn, Mars and 8th Lord Mercury. Moon is involved in bandhana

yoga from

color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">AL

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">: The major part of this

dasha was spent in ISKCON ashramas.

Mars:

Mars

is not very welcome in house seven. My first marriage which was arranged by my

guru was tough and frustrating and ended in divorce. Mars dasha brought two

business enterprises involving partners and both ended more or less unfavourably,

one of them triggering litigation which is still going on. Mars rules the sixth

house. One business partner cheated and misappropriated funds. Being in the

ninth from

color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">AL

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">, Mars dasha was not

unfavourable. Jupiters aspect was probably helpful, too.

Mars brought marriage and the aquirement of property and residentail facilities

due to inheritance. Thoughout Mars dasha, I lived in a

foreing country. In Mars dasha I was part of  a team of social workers investigating

child abuse cases. Mars is in the eighth with Jupiter in Navamsha. It is

aspected by Jupiter.

Venus:

Venus

is in house 4 with Mercury. It rules house 12 and is aspected by 4th

house ruler Rahu from house 12.  Venus

and Rahu exchange places. A major part of my Venus dasha was spent away from my

parental home in a boarding school. The link between house 4 and house 12 gave

me plenty of long distance travelling and residence in several foreign

countries. I had two minor car accidents one of which happened in

Rahu/Rahu/Venus. Venus signifies Vehicles and so does house 4. Venus conjunct 8th

Lord Mercury aspected by Rahu was one of the causes.

Mercury:

Mercury

is my atmakaraka. It is in house 4 in Rashi and in house 11 in navamsha.

Mercury rules house 11 and 8. Because it is in house four it gave some

inheritance from mothers family.  Mercury dasha probably comes too late in life for

me to see it. Mercury is in 6 from

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">AL

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">. This could be a good

time spiritually. But because it is aspected by Rahu, this is a bit doubtful.

Jupiter:

Jupiter

is in labhasthana which also houses

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">AL

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">. So far, I was fairly

lucky when it comes to finances. The birth of my sons brought financial gains and

happiness because Jupiter is Lord of 5 in 11.The Sun´s mutual aspect on Jupiter

from house five gave 2 male children, but rather late (at age 42) and only

after remedial measures. This is probably due to the fact that fifth Lord

Jupiter is retrograde and in the sign of a great enemy. Moon/Jupiter antardasha

gave me my first marriage. Jupiter antardasha in Rahu dasha gave me financial

prosperity and pleasant family life. In Jupiter antardasha in Venus dasha I was

sent to a prestigious school for higher education perhaps because Jupiter is

conjunct A9.

Saturn:

Saturn

in lagna made me skinny in my early days. Its aspect on the Moon gives me a

serious outlook. Being the third Lord in lagna, it is probably good for the

pursuit of knowledge and being in the third from

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">AL

font-family:Arial;color:navy;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB"> it should help me to

accomplish some of my goals once Saturn mahadasha sets in, because it is strong

in navamsha. Saturn is aspected by Mars from the seventh house and by Ketu from

the 6th. No wonder that I had two falls (age three and age 28) and

both times I injured my arm (Saturn is 3rd Lord). In Venus /Moon I

injured my left arm and in the second incident, in Moon/Saturn, I injured my

right arm.

Rahu

The

Rahu antardasha in my Sun dasha was the worst period in my life. It was dark

and miserable, very true to the nature of Rahu, but the pain ultimately awoke

me to spiritual life. Rahu/ Rahu was also  tough as it brought great trouble to my guru,

death of my father and some unsettling changes in my life but even here some

good also came out of it. Perhaps it is the aspect of vargottama 9th

Lord Moon which protects me from serious trouble.

Regards

and thanks for the lesson, Arno
