Namaste Brendan,

thank you for responding to my question....great insight.

When you mention the Dasa period for the Nakshatra dispositor I will assume it

applies to all Nakshata based dasa systems

( Vimshottari, Moola, etc)...same for Rasi dispositors e.g. Narayana Dasa?

Two Questions:

1, In my chart, Sani resides in Hasta Nakshatra ( Virgo Rasi)...now Chandra

disposits this Nakshatra.

Should I infer that during Sani Vimshottari Dasa, Sani will give

*Chandra-like* results - and the results will also be influenced by

Chandra's postion in the chart e.g. 7th house, Taurus? or is there another

conclusion I should be drawing?

 

2. if you have the time can you comment on a SOLE dispositor and it's

significance e.g. ONE graha that turns out to disposit all the other

Graha's/Rasi's?

nakshatra dispositor of Gulika is referred to as Gulika dasa and is said to be

Zoran has already made some excellent comments on this in his e-mail. In your

chart, your dasa lord Saturn is placed in Hasta nakshatra as you pointed out.

Its rasi dispositor is AK Mercury placed in the 9th house and with Ketu, a

dharmic and spiritual planet. The nakshatra dispositor is exalted Chandra the

Moon, lord of 9th. Saturn is placed in 9th in the navamsa with the exalted

Moon (lord of 11th) although in navamsa, Venus as lord of 9th is neecha in

navamsa lagna.

 

So what do you see here in Vimshottari dasa of Saturn and what have you

experienced? A great deal of 9th house results?

 

>From what I know about you, you are dedicated to your spiritual path, are

part of an international group (11th) dedicated to dharmic pursuits (9th) and

the study of Jyotish. I have found it to be very important to see which house

the nakshatra dispositor lords over. You will invariable find that that house

will feature prominently in the person's life during the dasa.

IN WESTERN ASTROLOGY THE TERM FINAL DISPOSITOR IS USED, AS IF TO IMPLY THAT

THE LIFE IS RULED BY THAT PLANET. IN OTHER WORDS, THE LOCATION OF THAT FINAL

DISPOSITOR WILL DETERMINE THE OUTCOME OF ALL OF YOUR EFFORTS. I PERSONALLY

HAVE NOT USED THIS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN REFERENCES TO IT IN JYOTISH. MAYBE

ZORAN CAN COMMENT.
