Stationary planets

Namaste friends,

When are planets stationary and what is their effect? I read somewhere (I don't

remember the source) that a planet which had just started moving from its

stationary position is very strong. Is it so? If so, upto what extent (degrees)

the benefic effect can be felt? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Lakshmi

Namaste Lakshmi,

My guess is that a planet is stationary when it is changing its

direction of motion from direct to retrograde or vice versa (the analogy

of a pendulum comes to mind).

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

regards,

Krishna.

dear lakshmi

just when a planet is entering retrograde phase he becomes

stationary. it is like this supppose all of a sudden u turn ur

scooter u dont turn it and continue, u turn stop and then move

forward. similar to football players action, turn stop aim and shoot.

similar is when the retrograde is about to be direct. he stops

retrogression becomes stationary and then becomes direct.

partha

Namaste Partha & Krishna,

Thanks for the reply and the graphic examples. Between scooters and footballs, I

have come to understand that a planet which had just started moving is strong

because it's more deliberate and focussed. Am I right?

Otherwise, shouldn't a just-begun- to-move planet, which is struggling to

overcome inertia and gain momentum, have less impact than when it's in full

gallop? Regards,

Lakshmi
