Planetary Dashas in Vimshottari Series 365 day year.

 

During Rahu Dasha (1947-1959) under Mercury Bukhti I moved from USA to Europe

after my parents divorced. Under Ketu I was taken care of by my maternal

grandparents. Under Venus I took on a Stepfather and step-siblings. Under Moon

I travelled across part of Europe on school tour. Under Mars I entered Grammar

School and had to travel over 20 miles each way every day to get to school by

private bus. Under Rahu I was very religious being a strong Catholic and an

altar boy at Church. Though I did spend a lot of time burning incense at

funerals.

 

During Jupiter Dasha (1959-1975) I had the worst time in school, joined the US

Army at 16. Became an occultist and irreligious. Was stationed in Texas at

Missile School, then Europe. Both my Father and Stepfather died during Jupiter

Dasha. I was in Vietnam in the combat zones. I went to Canada in 1970

eventually settling in BC in 1972. In the fall of 1970 I had a minor stroke and

had a powerful near-death experience and had all my chakras opened etc. It took

years to close some of them up as they were firing out of sequence <grin>.

Under the Mars Bukhti I hitchhiked across Canada a few times. I met my first 3

Gurus and had shakipat diksha from some of them. I began the study of Western

Astrology, though I tried Jyotish but could not find any materials or teachers

except in Sanskrit books. In the last few years of this period I had many

visionary and psychic experiences eventually understand that I have powerful

pranic healing ability. Also I discovered I had problems fulfilling my needs

and desires both sexually and in general.

 

During Saturn Dasha (1975-1994) I met my ex-wife and married. I met my Sufi

Teachers and under Mercury Bukhti travelled to Europe and the Mid-East. Visited

Jerusalem and Turkey having powerful experiences of divinity etc. My daughter

was conceived and born under Venus Bukhti and I also separated from my wife at

the end of the Venus sub-period. Under Sun Bukhti I tried to move from BC to LA

but had a really hard time finding work there. I got laid off work and started

to get into credit card debt.

 

During Mercury Dasha (present period began in 1994) I found myself in debt, out

of work but studying Jyotish. Under Venus sub-period I met my present Sufi

Teacher and under same period got his initiation. In this same sub-period under

a transit of Rahu over debilitated 7th house ruler Mars it was discovered I had

bladder cancer. Under Sun sub-period in January of 2001 I had my bladder and

prostate removed. Moon sub-period seems to be a more healthy one but that will

have to be seen as it rules the 10th with 2 malefics in it even if there is an

exchange between Saturn and Moon.

 

If God Willing I surivive to Ketu Period in 2011 it may be a powerful period of

spiritual experiences as it is conjoined Jupiter etc. There may be a sort of

Spiritual Community by that time to which I will retire.

 

I hesitate to speculate about other planetary periods as I will not probably

survive much into the Venus Period (71 years +).OM SRI GANAPATI KI JAI!
