Aum Gurave Namah

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Viswanadham, respected Gurus and members of the list!

Thank you for your answer.I might be wrong ,but we are talking about

Rahu in 9th house (whose natural karaka is Jupiter). You are suggesting

that Rahu brings problems with universal (or natural) characteristics

of 9th house, but,of course, it will be different for two different

persons. For me,who is born and baptised in Catholic "faith",we can say

that Rahu has brought questioning about integrity of most of the

practitioners(around me) and philosophical inconsistency in answering

to philosophical questions,I was looking for something deeper which

would answer to my questions about existence of the soul and meaning

of life which I have found in philosophy and practice of the Vedas

/Krishna Conciousness.

Now,what I am interested what to expect -will Rahu bring (to certain

degree doubts and disrespect) in the path I have chosen to follow?

Venus (with Rahu) main period brought somewhat rejection of

"traditional" religion(practice and philosophy) I was born into.

I am sending my chart attached.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely

Mayapur das

Dear Mayapur,

I can hardly accept the fact that Rahu would take you to the path of

Dharma,

particularly in 9th house where he acts as Marana Karaka. The only place

where rahu gives the true spiritualism is his position in 12th/7th from

AL

where the fruit of Materialism is rejected. Rahu will ever be a

challange for

you. Look at Atma in 7th house involved in Guru Mangala Yoga. You should

wear

Yellow Saphire to enhance the Guru's light since Guru and Mangal are

both

placed in 3rd from AL. Rahu in 9th gives phylosophical tendnecy.

However,

Rahu is ever opposed to Guru and Tradition and he would rather think of

his

own phylosophy than traditional. Therfore I cannot accept that Rahu

would

give Traditional Religion no matter whether we are Christians, Muslims,

Hindus etc. The fact that Your Guru is from Abroad is seen in Shani and

Chandra in 12th house, and ketu in cancer in 9th house from Guru.Even

though

Rahu is often thought of as a foreigner. I think foreigner in this case

means

non -traditional, impure..How can you rely on rahu's support? He is

darakarak in Your chart with

venus in the house of dharma. Some bad karma is brought with you in this

life, regarding

woman and marriage... You know that well. You rebelled against dogmatic

religious

views due to rahu indeed, but under the influence of women you may rebel

agianst

traiditional teaching as well. Be careful..Rahu is terribly intelligent

and has

enourmous grasping power, but without strong Guru he is a first class

misleader..

You have chosen the right part due to guru which is very strong in 3rd

from Al

and trines in Navmasa, influencing 12th from Atmakarak, at the same time

ruling

atmakarak lagna in navamsa chart.

I would never personally rely on Rahu's support in the field of

Religion.

Best wishes,

Zoran.

Just a few remarks regarding Rahu in your chart. Rahu in general will

indicate unfulfilled desires or material attachments, even if he otains very

strong spiritual significations, like here being in the 9th house. However,

thereés a few signs which may idnicate that desires to get married will come

up in you in Rahu Maha- or Antardasas. This is because Rahu is Darakaraka,

he is conjoined by Venus, which is natural karaka for wife, and also Rahu is

in less than 1 degree distance from natal Vivaha Saham. Plus he is in the

7th from Karakamsha. Therefore this test will be presented before you. Of

course there's some Pravrajya combinations like Moon sonj. Saturn in 12th or

Venus in 12th from Karakamsha, but as we have settled before, worship of

Kurma Avatar would strengthen the tendency for renunciation and decrease the

disturbancy from conjugal desires. In D-20, Rahu conjoins Ketu and Sun in

the 12th from Lagna, which also points at the evil effect of Rahu on your

dharma, so remedies should be taken against Rahu's effects in your chart.

Interestingly, you have Scorpio Mahadasa running in Kalacakra, from 1997 to

2004, and this is exactly the sign harbouring Rahu in D-20 thus this period

may bring losses related to religiousness or devotion indicated by D-20.

I hope this makes sense.

Dear Mayapur,

> Could you please elaborate just a little bit more on this?

Rahu is clearly maranakaraka shtan in 9th house. Rahu is together with Shukra

which is a lethal combination giving sudden rise of uncontrollable desires.

Shani as amatya karak and dispositor of shukra having full dristi over shukra

in 9th from 12th house, indicates that Raja Yoga that would arise from

Service to your Guru (shani is in A9) and spiritual service would help in

controlling shukra and rahu yuti. Whenever shukra is afflicted in 9th house,

that indicates some bad karma taken in this life (regarding marrital front),

which is confiremed by mangal placement as atmakaraka in 7th. Shukra is

afflicted as natural karak of 7th house. To enhance this, rahu has taken the

role of Darakaraka, giving sudden and uncontrollable happinings concerning

marital and female relationship aspect. The best point in the chart is Guru

Mangala and atma-pitru association in 3rd from Al and 7th from lagna- a lot

of DHARMIC WORK...Rahu and Shukra further in 5th from Al tend to bring

sudden rise of emotinal affiars, most probably around Mangal mahadasha and

shukra/rahu antara..Whenever rahu is to be pacified, Guru should go

stronger.. That is why I advised Pukhraj..(benefic must be very strong in 3rd

from Al to promote saintly leaving) Atmakarak in pisces navamsa with ketu is

EXCELLENT. Shukra in 12th from karakamsha indicates Shri Laksmi or

Radharani... Ask for her blessing!

Shukra as Ishta indicates that You must fulfill your Guru's desire, and must

remain abroad for Knowledge. Always do well to females...
