Do people who have a tamasic planet as the lagna lord, or in other key positions, tamasic by nature? Will it be more difficult for them to achieve sattvic qualities in their life? No. Couple of days ago I sent a reply to Mr.Nandan's mail, regarding finding the personalities of a person. Please read it. Lagna, lagna lord, Moon sign and; planets and signs influencing them are the key factors in molding a persons personality, character and constitution. We have to consider the navamsa also, in similar manner. Secondly, the dasa running also important. We have read it from dasa lord or sign. Remember, Valmiki's life story. 2. In determining whether the moon sign or the sign containing 5th star from moon (utpanna) are stronger, what sources of strength should be used? If I may use my own attached chart as an example: Follow the steps given in Gurudeva's Jaimini Upadesa Sutra translation for determining the strength. In your case, though moon is debilitated, as you mentioned many planets aspects it. Hence, your moon constellation is stronger than utpanna. My Moon is debilitated in the sign of Scorpio in the nakshatra of Vishakha. The 5th star from Vishaka is Purva Ashada in Sagittarius which houses Ketu in exaltation. The Moon is aspected by Jupiter, Mercury and Sun by rasi dristi, while Sagittarius is only aspected by Rahu. Is Scorpio, the moon sign stronger because it is aspected by Jupiter and Mercury as in determining strengths in Narayana dasa, or is Sagittarius stronger because it contains Ketu in exaltation and Scorpio contains moon in a debility? I greatly appreciate any guidance in answering these questions, Best Wishes, Karen ---------------------- Please note the new International Hospital of Bahrain email address.
