Guest guest
Namaste Partha, I have Rahu in the 9th. Then, why am I very traditional? And a query never disturbs the Guru, perhaps it's the tone. Guest guest
Dear Partha, Lakshmi & list, Could not hold myself back reading the following statement: Partha wrote: "rahu in 9th go against their dharma and culture" There might be something in the above statement though I would replace the word 'against' for "distance" or "separate" or "doubt". However much depends on Rahu's "status" in the chart i.e sign/lord and aspects/conjunctions, especially with/from Jupiter. Many configurations of Rahu in the 9th in connection with (as an example) Sun or Saturn will point at "separation" from the maters concerned, which in turn can point at 9th house matters like "father", "living in another culture" etc. The tone is not necessarily negative as such - on the contrary it may prove rather confusing and painful. Kind regards Jay Weiss - lakshmi ramesh sjvc Monday, January 28, 2002 10:26 AM Re: [sjvc] Re: Need some Help Om Gurave Namah Namaste Partha, I have Rahu in the 9th. Then, why am I very traditional? Guest guest
OM SRI GURAVE NAMAH Hello Jay, Glad to get ur reply. choice of words apart, what i dread is the habit of shooting from the hip type of an attitude in astrology. No single aspect of life (in this case disrespect to guru's/traditions/cultures etc) can have one possibility. This kind of trying to pull out combinations and hoping the same will come true in predictions is dangerous. The fact remains is if the person does not respect his/her guru, how can he/she even comprehend this divine science? And isn't the whole parampara of guru-sishya relationship based on questioning? i agree with Lakshmi because it;s the tone (and the intention) that hurts. Am sure guru's in this list will answer about why a person falls in dharma. For now i am inclined to believe that 9th lord in Navamsa falling i.e either debilitated or 9th lord in 8th (where this becomes the 12th from 9th) is indeed an unfortunate curse for a person. Let us wait for what the guru's say about this. In the end we all will learn. Thanks Narahari - Jay Weiss sjvc Monday, January 28, 2002 6:54 AM Re: [sjvc] Re: Need some Help Dear Partha, Lakshmi & list, Could not hold myself back reading the following statement: Partha wrote: "rahu in 9th go against their dharma and culture" There might be something in the above statement though I would replace the word 'against' for "distance" or "separate" or "doubt".
