Guest guest
Dear Mr. Banerjee, I understand that when carried along with in person, it also gives success. Regards, J.K. Dasgupta - Dr.D.Banerjee sjvc Tuesday, January 29, 2002 12:21 PM Re: [sjvc] abhimantrit Hatha-jodi OM SRI GURAVE NAMAH ---------- Namaskar Frank I know a little about Hatha-Jori. This is a rare herb. I do not know where it is available- may be in the Himalayas it can be found. After collecting it from someone who can recognise it , the herb should be kept immersed in sesame oil. On next sunday of shukla paksha it should be taken out from the oil and placed in a small box made of silver. Then a little amount of sindoor( vermilion) is applied on it. A little amount of camphor, a few clove, a few cardamom, and a few tulsi leaves are kept along with it. Then the box is kept in the place of Puja (worship). The whole process of taking out of the herb from oil and keeping it in silver box along with the objects mentioned before, is done while reciting the Gayatri Mantra. This herb is believed to give the following results- 1. Gives every protection to the house where it is kept. 2. Gives protection to the user in matters of disease, poverty, enmity etc. 3.Gives prosperity. 4. Gives success in all activities. May I request Gurus to enlighten us in this matter! Guest guest
Namaste, Some additional data that was sent to me today: 1. We know: "Abhimantrit" is a process of putting something in a pot ( of water) - Kalesha? 2. "hatha-jori" is common name for the root of a rare plant. 3. The botanical name is Martynia annua. We(I) might find it via American Herbal ProductsAssociation, or a web search using the Latin binomial. I think that "hatha-jori" is common name for the root of a rare plant. May grow in India, but we are not able to determine the scientific name of the plant this root is taken from. "Abhimantrit" is a process of putting something in a pot of water. Guest guest
As i know, these are roots of some particular plant and grow in himalayas. The name "Hatha-jodi" came from the fact that the root looks like two hands together. "hatha" means hand and "jodi" meam two together. jk dasgupta - Frank in Austin sjvc Wednesday, January 30, 2002 7:11 AM RE: [sjvc] abhimantrit Hatha-jodi Namaste, Some additional data that was sent to me today: 1.
