Q. 2. There are different characters of each planet is mentioned through out

the lesson. Identify from your own chart, at least one character of each planet

from your Rasi and Navamsa and write how does it influences you during its dasa

or antardasa.

 

Ans.: In the Rasi Chart, the strongest planet is SAT, which is not only seated

in Lagna and exaltation rasi, LI, but also is dispositor of, or aspects, all

other planets, except RA [it is Rasi dispositor of SU, VE & ME, Nakshatra

dispositor of MA & KE and aspects MO & JU]. It also has Parivartan with Lagna

Lord, VE.

This has given me tallish body, deep-set eyes, weak legs and traditional

outlook. Lagna lord VE has given curly hair and MO’s aspect from 7H has given

generally optimistic/ cheerful nature.

Influence of Planets on Dasa(Vim) Results:

As the Lagna is much more stronger than MO, I have used Vim-Dasa starting from

Lagna Nakshatra, Swati.

The main characteristics of the 9 planets, influencing my charts, are:

SUN

SUN is natural significator of Dharma, father, career, achievements, etc. It is

placed in AL, A2 & 4H – Cap, along with lagna lord VE, - in D9 it occupies its

MT, Leo (9H), along with MA

JU/SU (1979-80) period gave career advancement, own house and marriage.

SA/SU (Oct. 1994-95) period saw major development in business (recd. SEBI

approval to start Registrar services)

MOON

MO indicates mind, even fickle-mindedness, especially as it aspects lagna.

JU/MO dasa caused 1st job-change (Apr. 80).

 

MARS

Natural & sthira significator of siblings is placed 12th from 3H, the indicator for siblings.

Youngest brother passed away during SA/MA period (Dec. 1997)

MERCURY

Indicates Vaisya, higher education, logic/ reasoning, accounting/ auditing.

During JU/ ME dasa (Jul 73- Oct 75), I completed my BCom education and major

part of CA education/ training.

JUPITER

It signifies learning through its natural karakatwa and service because as 6L,

occupying 8H, exchanging rasi aspect with 4L & 5L (education) SA.

 

 

 

 

As 6L in 8H, it indicates serious sickness.

JU dasa (Nov 1968-84) covered the period of higher education (BCom/ CA 1970-76)

and service (1976-84).

During JU/JU/SA dasa (1969), suffered a break in education – caused by the

postponement of School leaving (12 class Board) examinations by about 9

months, due to political violence in Hyderabad.

It gave prolonged and near fatal sickness (massive chicken pox) during RA/KE/JU dasa (early 1962).

VENUS

Lagna Lord, Atma Karaka and Raja Yoga karaka (1L in 4H, exchange with 4L) and

conj. AmK (Sun) is a major benefic for this chart, though debeilitated and

neechabhanga in D9 (6L & 11L)

 

 

 

The dasa ruled by AK is very trying & traumatic for the native.

During RA/VE dasa (May 1962-65), the family shifted to Hyderabad.

During JU/VE (Sep 1976), started 1st job.

During SA/VE (Aug 91-Oct 94), business underwent several changes, including an

unsuccessful joint-venture & eventual conversion of the proprietory business

into a ltd. Co.

VE dasa comes too late in my lafe.

However, the natural age of VE (15-22, 1969-76) changed the course of my career,

due to break in education, swith-over from engg. to accountancy line and

completion of education with exceptionally good performance.

Marriage during JU/SU/VE dasa(Jan 90)

SATURN

It is Raj Yoga Karaka for LI lagna and is exalted in lagna, involved in a

house-exchange with Lagna Lord, VE.

Immediately at the start of SA mahadasa (last qtr. of 1984), circumstances

compelled me to resign my well-paying job to look after a business (I.T.)

started in 1983 jointly with friends; eventually I had to take over the

business completely & am running it still – parivartana and Raj-yoga both

fructified simultaneously.

RAHU

RA, in Sag. Is benefic and gives effect of JUP. In 3H, it effects siblings too.

It is aspected by 4L & 5L (education) – SA.

In 12H from AL, it gives religious inclinations.

 

3H also indicates change in residence.

 

RA indicates foreign connections.

Childhood was passed under RA mahadasa (upto Oct 1967), which saw birth of 3

siblings and covered almost entire schooling.

RA/JU effect also provided intense exposure to traditional & religious influence.

There was also frequent shifting from place to place (father in transferable job till 1963)

SA/RA also gave me the only overseas trip so far (Jun 1998).

KET

It indicates Moksha/ occult etc.

KE periods have been nomal, except that we shifted to own house during Ju.SU/KE dasa(Jan 1980).
