Guest guest
Dear Viswanadham and respected gurus, Which one to take the ishta deity as when two or more planets occupy 12th from AK in navamsh. What if there is no planet in 12th from AK? I request gurus to answer this doubt and also advice me as who is my ishta deity for Saturn Moon conjunction in 12th from AK in navamsh and how do I go about worshipping him? (Saturn-Moon are also within 1 degree in rashi chart). No, I am not associated with any math whatsoever. Its only that, some time back, I happened to see Swami Vivekanand's horoscope in the sample charts in the Jyotish software I have and found a similar combination of saturn and moon in 9th house. >One more thing is that with Sun as your atmakaraka, >it is important you keep your Ego in check and be >humble.Look at the chara karka >represented by Saturn in your case & people >represented by it. You >should try to maintain good relations with them. Another line of thinking could be that Saturn is ascendant lord for Capricorn, so does it not say much about my true-self (represented by lagna) being humble by nature (in most of the matters I mean), as also Saturn has argala on Sun in my rashi chart. Moreover, in D-27 chart (strengths and weaknesses), Sun is 12th lord thus representing both humility and ego and saturn is in D-27 lagna (again representing humility). However, Sun is causing argala on Saturn from 4th house in D-27 which is strongly counteracted by lagna lord Mercury, Jupiter and ketu, thus meaning that I will be able to keep ego in check through intellect and knowledge. Finally, it may be that you have felt that I am egoistic, but then its also that my AL (perceptions or wordly self) is being aspected by Sun as AK which ,probably, means that others perceive me as egoistic. In essence, ego is not creating as many troubles for me (as per my interpretation) as Saturn associating with Moon is creating mental agony. You said that free-will is associated with 10th as it is an upachaya bhava. However, I think that its through 5th house that we see free-will. In any case, both 10th and 5th are lorded by Venus, so probably what you say still holds. I doubt if its correct. Hoping that Gurus will clear this doubt. On the other day, you wrote that you are also in a similar situation. Are you also in software field and looking for job? regards, nitish On Sun, 13 Jan 2002 13:10:21 vishwanatham wrote: >Hare Rama Krishna > >Namaste Nitish, > >I am also an amateur like you or even less. > >A few months ago, when we were on Varahamihira list there was a lesson >from Gurudev on Atma Karaka & Ishta devata. What if there is no planet in 12th from AK? Dear Nitish, If there are two or more planets occupying the 12th, the strongest one should be taken (whoever has traversed the most degrees). The same rules for determining the chara karakas apply. If there is no planet in 12th from AK, the planets which aspect this house by rasi drishti should be considered. ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~ajit

Guest guest
om krisna guru Respected guruji & members " Which one to take the ishta deity as when two or more planets occupy 12th from AK in navamsh. What if there is no planet in 12th from AK? " suppose there are 2 plantents and rahu/ketu is one among them, because Ra & Ke move anti-clock wise, which planet would be considered " traversed the most degrees " ? or the strongest ? if there is no planets in 12th from Ak, then graha dristi, is considered, if no graha dristi, then can we consider rasi dristi ? can we consider the strongest of the rasi by the placement of their lords ? jothi Send your FREE holiday greetings online! http://greetings.
