Guest guest
Jai Jai Shri Jagannath! Om Guruve Namah! Dear Gurudeva, Namastae. Thanks for your Kind words for my previous lesson's reply and your Advice to me. I will remember it. Please also forgive me for the delay in answering this Lesson - I have been suffering from Fever and Severe cold for over two weeks.Q1. The next question is which Graha should be given the over-lordship ofthis twelve-fold division or the twelve signs of the zodiac and why?Ans: We know there are 12 divisions of Rasi Chakra and we know there are 7 planets (As Rahu and Ketu are not Visible or Physical planets, they do not get any lordship of Rasi divisions). Entire Universe and all beings in it can be said to be of a Trinity - Mind, Body and Soul. We also know the the physical body consists of the Five Tattwas viz: Fire,Earth,Air,Water and Ether. Embedded in it all is the concept of Day and Night (Aho + Ratra = Hora). With above information, it may be concluded that the Zodiac may be divided into two basic (fundamental) divisions of 180 degrees each (Or six divisions of 30 degrees each). One of those divisions (six signs) ruled by Sun signifying Soul (Naisargika AtmaKaraka) - Or Day/Wisdom/Light/Knowledge etc...and the other division (six signs) ruled by Moon, signifying Mind - Or Night/Ignorance/Ego. And to indicate that the Body (I am guessing here) exists at the Soul level and at the Mind level, the Pancha Tatwas are (Five other Planets Mercury = Earth, Venus = Air, Mars = Fire, Jupiter = Ether, Saturn = Water) are assigned a planet each. Now, why Sun is assigned to Leo. My understanding is that as Sun indicates, Soul - that which is constantly (Sthira) burning (Fire) with the desire to unify itself back into the Jyothi of Almightly - it is fitting to assigne the "Sthira Fire sign" Leo to Sun. And Similarly for Moon, representing Mind, with the everchanging emotions/Moods, it is appropriate to assign "Movable Water sign" Cancer. And the other 5 planets get one house each on Sun's and Moon's side, by assigning the nearest house to the Sun to the planet closest to Sun and so on...Q2. Make a schematic representation of the Earth, Bha-Chakra with its 12spokes and mark out the areas of Nara & Narayana.Ans: Please see the attached picture. (I did this in Paintbrush by free hand.
