Guest guest
hare rama krishna For moveable houses, the 11th from it causes argala, but it is also a badhaka sthana! Also, for any house, the 2nd from it sustains the indications of that house, but it is also a maraka sthana! I feel that in the first case, planets in the 11th cause argala, while the lord of the 11th is the badhakesh, but I am not sure of it. I request the members and gurus to help me understand these "contradictions". ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit http://www.csd.uwo.ca/~ajit
Guest guest
Dear Ajit, Pranam. This is what my understanding goes. I hope guru;s and learned members will correct me. Argala is caused in the 2nd, 4th and 11th from a particular rashi/planet. The 2nd house argala is obstruced by the 12th, 4th house argala is obstructed from the 10th and the 11th house argala is obstructed from the 3rd. You have mentioned that 11th house argala is caused for movable houses. I think irrespective of the kind of houses (movable, fixed and common) 11th argala is caused. For movable sign's the 11th lord is badhakesh. But argala is formed by that rasi/planets in the above mentioned houses. I hope learned people here will comment on this. Guest guest
Pranams to guru's and learned list members, Continuing with the topic of argala, i have yet another silly doubt. Can the principles of ARGALA and it;s obstruction be applied to divisional charts? Please do clarify! Guest guest
Dear Katti, Since your question has not been answered by the Gurus as yet, I am taking little liberty to express My views. Argalas and aspects are, as per my knowledge applicable for all divisional charts also. Even the principle of interpretation of divisional charts remains same as that of Rasi chart, except the fact that more stress would be to elicite finer or obscure details of the some perticuler house or matter concerned. Guruji solai's one of the mail in the vedic astrology list can give you more details. Wishing you a Prosperous and Happy new year, Mohan Hegde. - Katti Narahari sjvc Tuesday, December 25, 2001 2:45 PM Re: [sjvc] argala Pranams to guru's and learned list members, Continuing with the topic of argala, i have yet another silly doubt.
