Namaste Dasgupta,

 

In that mail, one of the rules is:

 

"1.2. The lord of the seventh from the debilitated planet in a Kendra from Lagna or Moon.."

 

As per this, Venus get neecha in Virgo, 7th lord from Virgo is Pisces and its

lord Jupiter must be in Kendra to Lagna or Moon. For her Jupiter and Moon are

in lagna. Now because of this Jupiter's placement, Venus gets Neechabanga.

Hence, Jupiter is the one who initiates this neechabanga and through its

(Jupiter) Karakatwa and through the personalities represented by its Karkatwa,

Venus gets strength. As we can understand from this the neecha canceling planet

must also be strong to make canceling more effectively.

Yes, I have seen the mail. The reply states the rules under which a neecha

planet is under neechabhanga as given by Guruji Pt. Rath.

 

But my doubt is which planet will come to the rescue of the neecha planet and

cause neechabhanga? Is it the depositor or the 7th lord or the lord of the

exault sign of the neecha planet or anybody else. And under which circustances?

I am not clear and may be I have some basic misconception about neechabhanga.

 

For example, in the case of Lakhsmiji 7th lord from neecha Ve is carrying out the rescue operation.

second mail in this thread.

Wherein, she has copied Gurudeva's earlier mail regarding Neechabanga. Please check it.

 

So, the planet which gives neechabanga will come into rescue or strengthens the Neecha planet.

This raises a basic doubt in my mind. In case of neechabhanga, what are the

indications in a chart that,

 

1. Which planet will come to rescue of a neecha yogakaraka planet - is it the

7th lord from the neecha planet or the depositor of the neecha planet or a

strong planet aspecting it?

 

2. Under what circumstances?

 

Please guide me.

What I remember from Gurudeva's teaching is:

 

The neechabanga giving planet represents the personalities, who come into rescue

of the Neecha planet. Say in your case, Jupiter being the neechabanga giving

planet, it can be your Husband or your Guru (Teacher) or your Senior in

workplace, who come into rescue of Venus' neecha in Karmasthana. So, as you

mentioned, the neechabanga is supported through various karakatwa of the

Neechabanga giving planet. Naturally, the effect will be more pronounced during

its period.

Neechabhanga, I read in Dr. Raman's"Catechism on Astrology" that the benefits

ofNeechabhanga will accrue mostly during thedasa/antardasa of the planet(s)

who'd caused theneechabhanga, since it is quite possible thatneechabhanga is

caused in more than one way and bymore than one planet. It is also mentioned

that where neechabhanga isstrong, it is almost equal to exaltation.

Thesituation of the neecha planet, the strength of theplanet(s) causing

neechabhanga etc. would determinethe extent of neechabhanga. Guruji, are the

results of neechabhanga solely derivedfrom the naisargika / functional

significations of the"neecha" planet ?ORvary/(get modified) according to the

naisargika /functional significations of the planet that causedthe

neechabhanga? Example:1) In my chart Venus is debilitated in the

10thhouse(virgo), but neechabhanga is caused byJupiter(7th lord from Venus),

who's situated inlagna/chandra lagna, being the lagna lord. So, theresults,

according to B.V. Raman would fructify morein Guru Mahadasa/Antardasa than in

Sukra Mahadasa.Here, I also strongly feel that Venus'ssignifications would be

heavily influenced by those ofGuru. 2) Now, suppose the Neechabhanga were to be

caused byMercury (dispositor of Venus), I feel that the resultswould be more

influenced by the significations ofMercury, and that there would be a marked

differencebetween the results output in (1) and (2) cases. So, with all

parameters of the "neecha" planetremaining constant, does the "hue" of

neechabhangachange in consonance with different planets (variable)causing it?

Shri Raman did not comment about this. Waiting for your
