Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Jyotisha, As we have seen in lesson 2, there is a need for the Sanskrit Encyclopedia rather than a dictionary. Now, I got the person whom I am looking for. I request Abhilekh Bhardwaj to prepare a complete Sanskrit-Astro terminologies Encyclopedia and we will upload it in our file section for the members use. Simple meaning cannot be sufficient. For example, Dhana is translated as wealth, whereas it may mean "Procession" including family. Abhilekh, powered with your Sanskrit knowledge, start with this work and one day I want to see you translating the hidden Vedic Jyotish scriptures, which are not translated by Gurudeva and Narasimha (at that time). If you want you can take Majid's help in this regard. May Jagannatha bless you in this endeavor. Thanks Solai Kannan
Guest guest
Respected Guruji, You have rightly pointed out the need for an Sanskrit Encyclopedia. I am glad that based on my answer to the last question of lesson 2, you found me suitable for this. I have always been attracted towards Sanskrit, but that does not mean at all that I can even think of myself being in the league of Gurus of the like Sanjayji and Narasimhaji. I gladly accept your proposition and to start with I will contact Majid and you and the rest on this and come back in due time to you and the sjvc community. Regarding my answers to lesson 2, I consider Vivekanada's question to Ramakrishna when they first met and Vivekananda asked him if he has 'seen' or 'realised' God himself. The answer was a definite 'Yes'. Although I dont consider myself to be at the same stage as Vivekananda, I do consider the question 'Have you seen/realised God yourself?' or alternatively the statement 'I have not seen/realised God' being valid for me. The questions posed in lesson 2 are very basic to our existence and the answers are not with me as yet. Until I get these answers, I am forced to live with an identity of a person born at a specific time, having specific planets in specific houses in his horoscope and hence going through specific phases in this limited life. I know (to a limited extent) what scriptures talk about and I also get the same repeated by people around me, however, until these words that I hear or read become my own experience and until I do not have to depend on books and scriptures etc. for these words to come out of myself, I would not consider myself to have realised anything let alone the supreme God. I beg for your pardon if I sound a bit arrogant or otherwise. Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Abhilekh, Thanks for accepting to do the Sanskrit Encyclopedia. No, you are not arrogant Abhilekh. You are in a transition period. This period is painful until the fogs are cleared. Meditate on the matters happening around you and try to see the God's participation in it. You have read enough. Now, meditate and read Gita only. Try sincerely and you will have the answers soon.
